Quiet lake retreat! This bright and cozy cottage is ready for your enjoyment! This cottage is perfectly placed right across the street from Lake Taneycomo. Enjoy the feel of a lakefront cottage with updated amenities!



The Space:

There is no better place to be. Plan a perfect getaway at Rockaway Beach. Enjoy all the area has to offer or head into Branson (11 Miles away) for all the fun filled activities of Branson!



You will have an adorable cottage to spend your downtime in after all the activities of the day. This home features a nicely equipped kitchen, and plenty of room for the group to hang out. Step out outside and take in the sounds of the lake and the amazing views.

STOCKED ITEMS

All of our properties are stocked with a starter kit for toiletries and kitchen supplies. We aim to meet the essentials for your stay, but anything beyond what is listed below (or if you plan to have a large group/long stay) you will need to provide for your stay.

Kitchen: Coffee, Sugar, Coffee Filters, Salt and Pepper, Potholders, Dish soap, Hand Soap, Kitchen Hand towels and dishcloths, Paper towels, Trash Bags

Toiletries: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Hand Soap, Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash bags, Make up wipes, tissue.

All linens will be provided as well as laundry detergent.

This adorable cottage sits right on Lake Taneycomo, make sure to bring your fishing license & poles! Enjoy some local dinner at 'The Pizza Cellar' just two blocks away and check out 'White River Coffee' on your way out for your daily adventures!



Other Things to Note:

**This property is pet friendly. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $100 is required. This fee covers up to two dogs. VRBO & Airbnb bookings can add pets in the guest count area, all other booking sites must contact us to pay fee separately.

**Freedom complies with all ADA regulations and welcomes Registered Service Animals. ESA's (Emotional Support Animals) are allowed at this property but still incur the $100 pet fee.

**Registered Service Animal requirements: 1 - The service animal may not be left alone in/around the property. 2 - The service animal must be on a leash when outside. 3 - Owners are required to pick up all pet waste.

We had a great stay in this adorable cabin. There was easy access to the lake and walking distance to stores and restaurants. The only drawback was the steps leading up to the unit were a bit steep. We highly suggest The Pizza Cellar for dinner.

Cute little cottage. Met our needs. The front parking/sidewalk was steep and the sidewalk broken. We were here for a week so we made do. Nice little town and if you are here over the 4th of July you will be impressed with the fireworks right across the road. Worth the trip.

The place was very clean and remodeled nicely. Right across the street from the lake and a very nice park for walking the dogs. Very friendly people around town. Highly recommend the White Water Coffee shop and the Cellar Pizza. Very quiet during the week days. We left on a Saturday, so not sure about the weekends. All in all, very satisfied with our stay.

I loved staying in this little lake cottage. Location was great. The only negative is that they are re-doing the cottage next door so there's a big dumpster and lots of construction "stuff" there. That is totally temporary, though, and would not keep me from renting this property again. They literally have everything you need there to make your stay comfortable. Loved it!

Location was good. Property was small as expected. Internet was not great but not needed. There was dust and hair everywhere, cleanliness was not up to par and there was a toothbrush left between the shower and sink that you could see clearly. The bathroom was very small and barely room to move. Bed was not comfortable and neither was the tiny couch. It could definitely use some upgrades but it would be suitable for one guest. I don't recommend it for a couple. We did make it work and we did enjoy our time fishing though. It's a cute little town.

We had a great stay at this little cottage with our dogs. The host was very easy to communicate with. The cottage was struggling to stay cool in the room during the hot days but thankfully plenty of fans were provided. I am confident we will be back!

Great Stay

Right across from a beautiful lake. The dock is all decorated for Christmas and there’s even a delicious food truck right across the street from this VRBO. The house is really cute and comfortable. About 15 mins to anything in Branson. We loved staying a bit away from the hustle of Branson.

Most peaceful place in the world!

The entire process of booking the cottage, checking in, enjoying the stay, and checking out was seamless and smooth. The cottage impressed us and exceeded expectations regarding the supplies provided. A short walk across the street put us on the lake island with benches and a covered dock where we spent hours enjoying the cool mornings as well as the evening sunsets. We will definitely have this on the "must stay again" list.

The cabin was set up great for our needs. We were traveling for the first time with our new puppy and the bedroom setup was perfect. The outside of the property was a little disappointing but the lake was right across the street so it was fine. The pictures were a little misleading making the cabin look secluded which it was not. The room could have been cleaner. We had to clean the floor fan in the bedroom in order to have it circulate any air as it was plugged with dust and dirt. All in all, it was priced fair for what we got and we would stay there again.

Short drive to Branson

Nice, clean cottage, was nice that my sisters and I all had our own bedrooms (3). There is a grill outside to use, parking right at the back door. Just a 10-15 minute drive to Branson, so was nice for us to not be around all the noise at Branson the whole time and could relax in the evening. Taneycomo is right across the street and the sunrises were beautiful. Would stay here again.

Stayed 3 nts, rockaway Beach area is run down lots of old mobile homes and junk. Looks like some of the rentals in area have changed hands and some are being updated including this one it was fine probably wont be back.
