An absolutely beautiful place. The mill has been renovated with such style and good taste. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. A fantastic space - both indoors and out, for a large group to get together.

Having just spent 4 days at the old mill as a group of 10 people to celebrate some family birthdays I can highly recommend it. The mill and its grounds were beautifully kept and it was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly want for your stay whether it be kitchen equipment, crockery, towels, games equipment or fridge freezers (we counted 4 throughout the property) and there was plenty of parking for all our guest. Communication with the hosts was excellent both before and during our stay and was never intrusive. Would definitely book again if we were visiting the area or for another special celebration.

Great service from Gary when we mentioned the fridges not being cold, he kindly bought one over and sorted a delivery of a new one.Great local pub walking distance.

A fantastic, interesting and unique property that offers loads of character and with all modern amenities. We went in the height of summer but it would also make a cosy winter destination with lots of fire places, nooks and crannies. The hosts were super, friendly, fast to reply and have thought about everything. The kitchen has a large table, as does the dining room for big gatherings.

Perfect quirky mill house for a fabulous family/friends weekend away.

All round perfect place, we didn’t leave the house for our whole stay. The pool was amazing. The accommodation is very well equipped. We really couldn’t have had a better time

Great Staycation!

We loved our stay at the windmill! Everything we needed was provided and we stayed on property the whole time. Pool was great, games were on point, and everyone had something to do. No one ever said, “I’m bored!” Looking forward to returning next year!

Check in was very easy.. The house was amazing, plenty of space and the pool was so nice. Our grandchildren had so much fun in there. The games room was excellent and kept us entertained most of Sunday afternoon. The beds were very comfy, with beautiful bathrooms. The view from the top of the Windmill was breathtaking, especially watching the sunset. The local pub was really nice and the food was sooooo good Thank you to the hosts for letting us share your home.

Amazing property!!

Property was beautiful - loved all the original features from the old windmill and the tower is so special - so many talking points. Pool was amazing and lovely and warm - kids (big and small) loved it. Loads of room for everyone in the house and very comfy. Hosts were lovely and communication was great - if you want a memorable trip, definitely book this property 😍😍

Perfect get away for a family do or a Hen party type occasion

The property is beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. We had 15 people staying here and there is so much room. We didn’t really leave the kitchen area though to be fair but there is so much space you won’t get on top of each other. I could easily do a weeks get away here. Was so nice.

Beautiful House

Great House for family gatherings! Well equipped and good communication with owners. Clean and swimming poo was fabulous. I would suggest that unless the family are very close the bedrooms in the windmill are not suitable : as little privacy . The rest of the house a joy, well lived in, but cosy .

Perfect venue for our family get together

The Windmill was the perfect venue for our family get together. Lots of space for everyone, quirky rooms in the tower for the children, lovely bathrooms with reliable hot water, and a fabulous kitchen with everything we needed. We especially valued the fact that the games room was well resourced with good quality equipment. The pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of lovely clean towels. Only down side was that some repair is needed to some windows that let in water during the few heavy rain showers we experienced.

80th Birthday celebration

What an amazing property! We had a fantastic family weekend. It has everything that you would need and is furnished high end. It was exceptionally clean. Sandra called before our arrival and was very friendly, letting us know she was always available should we need anything. Would definitely recommend booking Avril the chef. Food was amazing and it really made our last night extra special. 10* out of 10*
