Beautifully decorated clean house. The host was very friendly and helpful. The 2 bathrooms were great I would definitely stay there again.

What a great vacation we had and it was due, in large part, to the lovely accommodations at The Bear Necessities. What a comfortable property, with lots of creative and thoughtful touches throughout. The host is extremely approachable with any comment or need you may have. I’m hoping for another stay here soon.

Wonderful location, close to everything. Our entire family had enough room PLUS! The kitchen was roomy and each bedroom was large. We’d stay there again!

This property is ideally located and offers ample space along with all the features a family could need for a trip to see Mount Rushmore and the surrounding sites. It is quiet, clean, and spacious—everything our family needed after hours of traveling and sightseeing.

Cute clean property in the heart of much of what SD has to offer!
Super clean, a dozen super cute DIY touches, great responsiveness from the host, and it a good location for all the things we had planned. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice and conveniently located
House was clean. It had 2 nice outside areas - a screened in back deck and open deck in the front. It was very close to MT Rushmore and Crazy Horse which we liked.

Property was nice! we had a good comfortable stay. It was also quiet. Host was very courteous and helpful. If you have never been to the area she has a whole area activity book with descriptions, directions and information.

Great house! Very clean & very convenient location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved the deer & turkeys that visited the back yard each day.

Nice place, comfy and cute!
Fun bedroom motifs and very welcoming and comfy decor. The property owner was very helpful with any questions and concerns we had. Lots of wildlife and close to all the attractions in Keystone. I would definitely recommend this property to others!!

Great house centrally located.
The Bare Necessities was a great house for our family get together. It's located centrally for all the national attractions and places of interest. The house is set up so you are able to visit, cook, play games and no one is left out. There is a great deck off the back to sit and visit with awesome furnishing. Chelsea was also great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.
