Nestled in 2 acres of land with stunning rural views. Quiet and tranquil with abundant birdlife depending on the season. Newly built in December 2022 this studio has been well designed for comfort and is just 15 minutes from Whanganui. Easy drive to beaches and the river. Great market every Saturday morning and thriving art community.

The space
A private studio on our lifestyle property, with balcony and ensuite consisting of a shower, handbasin and toilet. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee plunger. Queen bed and 1 arm chair. BBQ and outdoor table with 2 chairs. Please note that entry is up 3 steps onto the deck.

I loved my stay here The location is peaceful and the accommodation was well thought out and easy to access There is a delightful private deck for relaxing on. I had great communication with the hosts, and I would definitively stay again.

Nice very private little space, beautifully decorated. Lovely outlook onto garden and countryside. A little bit out of town but worth the 10 min drive for quiet and tranquil place to stay

Lovely fittings and standard and very comfortable. While no full kitchen, that’s made clear in advance and bbq covers most things via a covered deck for all weather. A microwave, small fridge and jug provide back up. Everything you need for a short getaway. Lovely setting. Very peaceful and beautiful green outlook. Easy Short drive to town. Ticks all the boxes in a good price range too.

Cozy country retreat

Enjoyable stay for 3 nights while visiting friends and exploring Whanganui. Very comfortable, quiet and private space. Good bed with plenty of warm blankets. Special treat to have bacon and eggs supplied! Would stay again!

Tranquil location

This is a thoughtfully set up studio which had everything we needed for 2 nights (including cereal and yoghurt breakfast). Wee bbq was a good supplement to petite kitchenette. The studio is private and has a peaceful rural outlook- we enjoyed watching the farm animals and fantails from deck. Excellent quality and value accommodation

We moved to Whanganui six years ago and bought our first ever lifestyle block. We love the peacefulness and all our animals love it too - two mini schnauzers, a cat who rules the place, Maggie the horse and some cows.
