We were a group of 9, 4 couples and a single, and this property was perfect. It was very clean and the rooms were spacious. No air conditioning but there were many fans that worked well for us. Everything we needed was included; BBQ, firewood, 3 kayaks with life jackets. Some water toys are also there. We used the sauna and it worked well. There is a small area of sand that extends about 20ft into the water. Swimming was weedy but we managed. Communication was efficient and friendly. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone!

Beautiful log home/cabin. Plenty of room, great for our group of 5 friends. Plenty of sleeping spaces and comfortable areas inside and out, on the deck or in the yard facing the bay. Our host (Daniel) was helpful and attentive to any questions or requests. A very enjoyable stay.

Such a beautiful property! The cottage is beautiful, with plenty of room for everyone. The beach area is also lovely for kids as its really shallow and sandy, but not a great spot to launch a boat.

A great cabin with a great location on the lake

The cabin was in great condition, it was stocked with towels and condiments as advertised. The water craft, kayaks and paddle boat were lots of fun. It was a little hot, but fans were provided for each room which helped cool off the space over night with the windows opened.

This is a very beautiful property. There are actually 6 bedrooms (4 queens and 2 singles), which is an added bonus. The property has an abundance of watercrafts (paddle boat, kayaks etc), and it's a very quiet lake. The sauna is an absolute treat and is something I wish all rental properties have.There are very few negatives, but it is worth mentioning. The first is very minor: there is no central air conditioning, which is missed. However, the combination of the quality air circulation and the proximity to the water is solid enough to keep the cottage from overheating. Also, the water is not amazing. Unfortunately there are so much weeds in the water that it makes the water not great for swimming or fishing.However, the positives of this property far outweigh the negatives. The place is beautiful, affordable, but still feels rustic. I would highly recommend this for any renters looking to have some peaceful cottage vibes at a property that is very easy to get to from the major cities.

Great Location - Buckhorn Cozy Cabin

Location was great with short driving distance to Buckhorn, golf course and other surrounding towns. We enjoyed having the use of the kayaks to get out on the water. We made good use of the large deck as well as the large grass area in front of the lake. The cottage was spacious and easily accommodated the number of people who stayed. We missed not having air conditioning and availability of laundry facilities. We arrived almost an hour late for check in but cottage was still being cleaned and not ready for us to move in. This had not been clearly communicated to us.
