Charming and relaxing

The house really was charming and cozy. It was clean and had some extra amenities like coffee and tea in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too. The owner was responsive and helpful, even after we had checked out and realized our daughter had left her phone there. We would stay here again.

Great for a Chapel Hill Wedding!

We were visiting for a family members wedding and wanted to stay in a place that was quiet and peaceful, and this house certainly was it! It was absolutely gorgeous. All three bedrooms were large and had comfortable beds. There were quite a lot of bees on the property, but were not aggressive, just maybe something to think about if you have any allergies. The neighborhood felt safe, and we were actually able to Uber to Chapel Hill (about a 20 minute drive). House was great for our dog, complete with dog doors to a small fenced side yard. Rest of the property was not fenced, but it wasn't a problem.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were not aware from the listing how close the property was to the Bynum General Store concert venue which is just across the street. That said, the show added to our wonderful experience by providing entertainment for our family members joining us for dinner Friday night. We are used to a more fast paced urban environment at home so it was such a treat to relax in the peace of this lush NC hamlet. The old Bynum Bridge was a great suggestion by the host, providing a scenic outdoor excursion for us and our extended family. A word of caution for older guests or those with physical challenges: There are stairs required for entry and very low 2nd story banisters which may be consistent with the age of the home but seem well below today’s code.Overall this place provided memories we will always cherish. Thank you.
