Owner very accommodating with check in which made our stay much easier. Apartment was clean and quite large . Kitchen and bathroom were basic but ok.

The place, while nice & clean, was basically falling to pieces.The toilet cistern buttons were broken, the shower taps were falling off, the single bed was like a hammock, doors jammed, the front door knob didn't do anything.There is a TV & heater in the main bedroom but no power points.

Excellent location in Omeo

Location is excellent directly across the road from the Golden Age Hotel. The accommodation is old and basic but clean and comfortable. Perfect place for us as a group of friends to stay overnight on a motorbike trip.

The property was not ready even 1.5 hours afyer check in. Even then, it was double booked. We had to stay at the hotel across the road (which the host's property manager did quickly organise for us). Very unsatisfactory for a family of 5. We expected 2 rooms, lounge and a kitchen, but at the hotel only had a single room. We couldn't cook any of the food we brought, so had eat out, costing us more. The hotel is cheeper to stay at than the accommodation, so the host scored there again, too. Attepts to contact the host have been purposefully ignored. Even wotif/vrbo have tried to contact the host, and he's ignoring them, too. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Richard was polite and helpful, but the place needs some attention. There was no toilet paper, no towels - this was sorted quickly. However, a place that hosts 5 people should have more than one coffee cup, two teaspoons and no butter knife. There was next to no dishwashing liquid and no dishwashing cloth, brush or scrubber. An air fryer isn't necessary, especially when it doesn't get cleaned. Toaster and microwave were dirty, too. The bathroom door gets stuck on the floor, the front door is rotting away, the carpet was properly vacuumed but so filthy with stains that it looked unhygienic. Where the shower is used to be a bath and the tabs have been left at such a low hight you need to turn them while squatting down. Conditioner was provided, but no shampoo or shower gel/soap.We don't mind old and quirky, the location is perfect and the sheets were clean, but I would not have cooked there or stayed for more than one night. The place needs a loving, caring eye and a checklist for the cleaner.

The host has used pictures of another property, which of course we went there to check in. They warned us Richard has been told not to use these photos. It was 3 hours of total confusion. I want a complete refund. NOT HAPPY!
