The Fern Grotto Inn was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for accessing all areas of the island without making the drive too long. The River Cottage was perfect, the bed and pillows were so comfy! We were extremely happy with our stay.

Me and my husband stayed for our anniversary, the property is beautiful and in a great location for people looking to explore north and south ends with food about a 10 minute walk. Our favorite part was all the accommodations including in our stay, like the kayaking and small things down to the chairs and umbrellas. Our favorite thing to do was the kayaking on the river right next to the stay and we did It a couple times during our stay! We will be back for sure

The Fern Grotto Inn was a great location for exploring the island. The hosts seemed to think of everything from laundry to coffee to kayaks. It was a wonderful experience.

The room met all of our expectations and then some. We were welcomed with a treat and drinks, there were flowers everywhere and we had our own private garden area. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the room was quiet and romantic. We used the kayaks and bikes provided on the property as well. It was fantastic!

Fern Grotto Inn was perfect for us! We felt like we stepped back in time away from the hustle and glitz of modernity while providing all the comforts and supplies we could want. We chose this place because of the kayaks/river, and it was a highlight of the trip! Full size fully stocked washer and dryer, snorkel masks, beach chairs, well-equipped kitchen, dreamy mangos right off the tree, friendly staff. The east side location provided easy access for a day on the north shore or heading south to Waimea canyon. Walked to Lydgate Park to watch the sunrise every morning. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay. Will be coming here again. CoCo D was a perfect sized cottage for me and my wife. They give you access to their bikes, kayaks, and beach supply with direct access to the Fern Grotto from the property to kayak from.

I loved this property so much. Rustic, great location and kayaks & bicycles for use. Lydgate Beach is an easy walk and gorgeous, very close to airport and Poipu. I loved hearing Hawaiian music playing as I entered my gorgeous, clean,quiet, spacious room.

Wonderful cottage with many amenities to include a full kitchen, coffee/filters, kayaks, coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkeling gear, laundry soap, fruit to pick and more. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and direct access to the Wailua River, which leads to Fern Grotto and Secret Falls.

Fern Grotto Inn was a beautiful vacation getaway. We were extremely pleased with the Coco A cottage that we stayed at. Would recommend this over a hotel. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and well kept. So many amenities that are an added bonus. A true gem in Kauai! Thank you Paul and staff Lynette & Gary

Excellent stay, felt like we were staying with friends. Clean inside and out, everything needed was provided includes coffee, water filter and all the appliances. Has nice screened porch, kayaks provided, bicycles provided, beach gear provided and if the fruit on the trees are ripe you are welcome to pick them. We felt safe the entire time and parking is close by.
