We loved everything about this apartment, in a quiet buy super close to the harbor, 8 minutes walk, beautiful clean apartment with everything needed, fairly new and very modern. Highly recommend.

Lovely apartment, very close to town centre, staff very friendly and helpful. Apartment was lovely and clean and bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic spot right in the heart of Oban - and great value at that. Best of both worlds to have an hotel-like experience with some space and a kitchen. Would return!

Modern, convenient option right in town centre

The apartments were in a separate building close to hotel, but check-in was efficient, on street parking was not too difficult, and proximity to town center, restaurants and the ferry port is very convenient.

The apartment was spotless. Ideal for two people. Very quiet and in great location. Staff at hotel were very pleasant and professional.

We were only in Oban for one night, but this place would have suited our needs for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable but the couch was not. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been, there were scuffs and fingerprints on the door and walls. The shower was small and we had trouble with water pressure and temperature. The breakfast, however, was amazing for the price!

Beautifully clean apartment within easy reach of the town for places to eat and a few minutes away from the ferry terminal. On street parking was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent apt. for Oban. Close to wharf, attractions, food & pubs. We arrived @ 10 pm and staff were welcoming and knowledgable. Highly recommended!

Great location and street parking available. Clean appartmebt but quite warm with the sun. Fan was available but no crosswinds when we opened the balcony. Would recommend drawing the blinds in the morning when leaving the appartment to keep cool. We cooked our own breakfast and had all necessary utensils. Good appartment.

Pleasant stay

Room was very clean and comfortable in a 1970's retro way. We didn't attempt any cooking but there seemed to be adequate provision. Could have done with a tea towel and more kitchen towel.

Fab stay, fresh style, clean and would stay again

Great, easy stay for our overnight business trip to Oban. We opted for the apartment for ease and it was clean, fresh and had a few shortbreads and tea and coffee. Beds were comfy and bathroom clean. I would definitely stay again if in the area. We also tried the pub downstairs for food and it was very well priced and tasty. The room had an almost balcony with a window that slides open to reveal a little bit of Oban, nice touch.

Overnight in Oban

Great location for an overnight stop, but had a slight end of season feel to the property (which it is in September). I am sure they are going to do a zhoosh up in the offseason as parts a bit chipped/tired esp the shower stalls. I should say tho that overall the property was well cleaned and presented with helpful reception staff. Oban is a lovely wee place to visit.

Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses. And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place extremely hot. And since there is no air conditioning in the apartments, it gets stifling. They only have a little fan to use and the cord can’t reach the sliding door to bring the cool air in. Also, there is no elevator in the building with the apartments. If you are booking through Expedia be careful. I put in the parameter for elevators and the Ranald Apartments showed up. But the units with the kitchens don’t have one. I won’t be staying there again.

The apartment was ok. the bathroom sink was quite small that water would spill when used, not all the appliances in the kitchen were operational (stove top and oven not working). No washing machine as advertised on expedia which was disappointing. The location of the apartment was great and central.

The property was on the third floor (4th floor for Americans) with no elevator. The kitchen appliances were old. When we arrived, the carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet. We reported the problem and were given towels to lay on the floor. We thought that maintenance was going to look into the problem while we were out the next day but nothing was done. The best thing about the apartment was its location, which was walkable to shops and restaurants and to the ferry.

The check in instructions said we would be greeted on arrival. I messaged to confirm an arrival time but no one was there and no one answered the phone when we called multiple times. We eventually had to find the check in for the hotel (not the apartments) ourselves. Positives: convenient location But that’s it Negatives: No lift No air conditioning - it was so hot in the room it was like a sauna. We had to go back to reception and beg for a fan which to be honest did very little. Midges- the room window had been left open and there were midges in the room when we arrived. We had to get them out and close the window. The lack of any sort of net on the window meant we couldn’t open it for the duration of our stay. Condition of the room: run down and the bathroom was in particularly bad condition. Both the toilet roll holder and the towel rail were on the verge of falling off. There was also only half a roll of toilet paper so we had to again go to reception to get this and then walk it back down the street to the apartment. Power shower - you have to click the power on for the shower before you enter and then switch it on and these notoriously have terrible water pressure. No daily cleaning

Appartamento non troppo grande per tre persone però con tutto il necessario. Posizione perfetta per vicinanza al porto per tour. Manca ascensore quindi attenzione agli anziani.
