What a wonderful 4th of July weekend we had while staying at this property. Plenty of room for our family, from the number of comfortable rooms, the covered porch and wonderful seating, the beautiful stream at the back of the property and the incredible fenced in yard which allowed or dog to safely enjoy her stay as well.

It was well suited for our family get together… Being able to enjoy the area things to do and return to the cabin for cooking together was great!The sauna was a nice bonus and nice to have a cold plunge afterwards in the creek!Very comfortable!!

Perfect Thanksgiving Vacation

We stayed here while visiting my daughter who is living in the area. It was perfect for the 5 of us and our dogs. Great location, very comfortable and a fenced in area for the dogs.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay! Room for everyone and wonderful site. Caught a few native trout in the stream behind the house. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Perfect get-away house with easy drive to Franklin, NC.

The property was excellent in every way. Great amenities. Would like to stay for 10 days next time. Everyone (4) had a great time. I would highly recommend.

Happy in Hayesville

Great cabin for a country getaway. My family founds a wonderful home to share for the holidays. The cabin has all the necessities and is in a wonderful location. Recommend for pet friendly families.

Home away from home

We LOVED our stay here. There was so much space for our family to spread out but it was also super cozy. We enjoyed playing pool and sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the creek. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent base camp

The property absolutely lived up to the pictures presented in advertisement. We were here for 6 nights and used this home as a base camp for hiking many miles of trails. The home had two baths with showers that worked great. It was a great place to come back to and relax. Would recommend this home to everyo e.

Great cabin in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Owners were very nice and easy to contact. Cabin was great and location was too. The river sounds so peaceful from the cabin. I even caught a rainbow trout on a lure down by the bridge. It's a great place to getaway for a week. My family loved it.

Family vacation

Wonderful cabin beside a mountain stream. Comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed being able to have our dog with us. Easy to get to and nice Ingles grocery store not to far away. Hope to come back in the future!

Stayed a month to watch the leaves change and escape the Florida heat!

The house is so charming and the property has many touches that are just lovely! The longer you stay, the more you notice. The creek was clear and beautiful and the home is close to town but still feels remote. It truly was a retreat!

Beautiful Property

The cabin was clean and very spacious. My granddaughters loved the bedroom in the loft. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dog. I like Hayesville and all the small towns around it. We hiked the mountains and played in the creek and nearby lake. I will be back for another stay.

Best Thanksgiving Ever!

Jody was wonderful to share this beautiful property with us so we could have a new adventure at Thanksgiving. It is convenient to all the things we wanted to do, we cozied up at the fire place or fire pit by the awesome brook and just enjoyed each other. The kids loved the game room downstairs and we all teared up when it was time to leave!

Great mountain getaway!

My family of 5 (older teens/young adults) had a great time at Jody’s cabin. WiFi worked great for devices as I had to do remote work during our trip. Loved listening to the creek, and enjoyed the back deck. House was very clean with plenty of kitchen items for cooking and grilling. Loved the surrounding areas drove all over viewing the fall foliage. Can’t wait to come back for wildflower season.

Beautiful!

This place was perfect for a girl's trip with our dogs! Loved the mountain chalet look and feeling! We had plenty of space. The Creekside sitting area w/fire pit was very enjoyable. What a plus to have a beautiful finished basement w/pool table, table top checkers & dart board! I highly recommend this property!

Amazing

My family and I had such an amazing time here. The cabin was a dream! My children didn’t want to leave and neither did I! Everything about this rental was great. The host is so friendly and helpful with great communication. I had a hard time leaving to go home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
