Our stay was excellent, the house fit everyone very well and we enjoyed the location to downtown. Also went out to the peninsula that was very fun to explore for a quick hike!

Great stay for a large (12)family weekend and wedding. Clean, spacious and very comfortable and homey. Renting agent was very accommodating, informative and helpful. We had a great weekend!

The house was great. We had six couples staying here, and it did not feel crowded. The beds were very comfortable. It was easy walking distance to main street. The house was clean and matched the description. Ann gave us a quick tour upon check in, and recommended a couple of places to eat.

great house for a group

the house was large and very comfortable. The heated family room floor was great place to rest after skiing. Very short walk to Main St. Definitely recommend it.

Awesome time, great property

Very impressive and massive. We had 12 and there was plenty of room for everybody. This place is great.

Great place.

Location is everything. The house also accommodates large groups very well. It is older but everything works well. Super comfortable beds.

The Pink bathroom is gone! It wasn’t dirty, it was older and needed some love:) We remodeled, and rebuilt it and it is beautiful. Please come back and you will see.

Girls Weekend!

This was a perfect location for our girls weekend away. A short walk to the Mirror lake urban trail and all the downtown shops and restaurants. Anne was very helpful. Would recommend this house to a large party staying in Lake Placid.

Great House, Walking Distance to Main St

Great house with tons of space and amenities. Outdoor area was perfect with nice grill, beach volleyball court, and fire pit. Only downside was the town rule which prevented us from enjoying that outside area after 9 pm, but being a short walk into town helped alleviate that concern.

Sean and group were terrific. We would host them any time again. The Village of Lake placid, like many others across the US, are enacting ordinances for Home Sharing. We are working through it and will do what we need to make sure that our guests get to continue to enjoy the beautiful Village of Lake Placid and the closely nestled Adirondack Mountians.

Lake Placid

This was a nice house and true to the description. The property manager Ann was in frequent communication about our stay and stopped by several times to check in. Other than a few minor broken items, the house was in good shape. We would stay here again.

Christmas House

Very clean and certainly big enough for our 16 people. Beds were all comfortable and it had everything we needed as well as tons of towels. Very comfortable we had a fabulous time and our host Ann is a wonderfully women. We felt right at home. Thank you

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for our trip. The owner is communicative and friendly. The house was clean with plenty of space to sleep, hang out, cook, and relax for all 12 of us. The kitchen was stocked with enough cooking supplies for us to work with and plenty of dishes and utensils. As an added bonus, the mattresses are so soft. All around 10 out of 10 stars!!!

Ski Trip

Traveled with a nordic ski team to compete in a series of races at Mount Van Hoevenberg. This house was perfect for our group size, and everyone had plenty of space. The host was very nice, and was great at checking in on us to ensure everything went smoothly. Lake Placid is a beautiful place, and we will certainly be back.

Ski Trip

We had a large group and had a great time. There was plenty of space inside the house and outside and is a great house for all groups. Everything listed on the house’s page was exactly how it was. It was great being within walking distance to town and only 10-15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain. Ann was a great host and was easy to get in touch with. I would rent again!

Claus House

My whole family (16 people age 3-70) stayed at the Claus House for 5 nights. It was very comfortable with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The house and grounds were spacious. The little kids used the playground once, we used the fire pit once, kids played volleyball a few times, adults used the hot tub a few times, mostly it was a home base for other excursions in the Adirondacks. Overall, a great vacation!

Claus Home

This place is amazing! So spacious and clean. It was everything and more to us. We had 13 people and we never felt crowded at all. We used every inch of this house and the amenities were fantastic. Close walk to the town 8-10 minutes and it was centrally located to the town. Ann is the realtor and she was it extremely knowledgeable about "things to do" while you stay and we definitely enjoyed the ice skating rink!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful experience here! We have never been to Lake Placid so had to rely on the descriptions and photos here. Everything was just as described. We had plenty of room and loved walking to town. We did not have to pack a lot due to how much was already at the house and the double washer and dryers. All ages 4 to 80 had a great time! Thank you so much!
