La casa offre viste pittoresche sulla baia di Cape Cod e sull'estremità orientale del canale di Cape Cod. Un portico avvolgente offre una vista spettacolare della tua spiaggia privata. Una grande cucina gourmet dotata di elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile tra cui wet bar e fabbricatore di ghiaccio separato, lavastoviglie e forno a microonde. Cenate al tavolo con vista sull'oceano che può ospitare comodamente 10. La sala da pranzo separata può ospitare 8-10 e offre anche magnifiche viste sull'oceano. Il soggiorno con camino e vista sull'oceano comprende una TV e un lettore DVD. La casa comprende 5 camere da letto. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Rottenhouse. Its a classic NE beach house right on the sand at the wonderful Sagamore beach. The wraparound porch is just incredible and one of the highlights. The main floor is just perfect with huge kitchen with multiple cook stations and sinks, new appliances...etc..so much space. The upstairs is where the bedrooms are located. Nothing fancy, but quite functional. Only one bath/shower up there. WE managed, but something to be aware of. Other shower is in basement, which I actually used a lot. Perfect when coming off the beach. whole house was spotlessly clean, which is huge. Communication was a breeze from the start. Highly recommended.

Rottenhouse

Our family had such a wonderful stay. The porch of this house is incredible and just that alone is worth booking a stay here! Being right on the water was so great and our entire family loved being steps away from the beach. We were worried about the lack of A/C when booking but the owner was spot on about there being plenty of breeze from the ocean to cool down the house. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful location, great home for a family of 6+

Location is unbeatable… beautiful views, spent all our time in the gorgeous porch or the beach. The house had plenty of space for our large family. We didn’t venture across the bridge often because there was no need. Loved every minute.

Lovely place. Great location. I was under the impression there were two full bathrooms with showers. Second shower in basement did not work as second bathroom for family friendly use. Might have been my misreading but that meant showering in shifts. Other than that all the amenities you could want

Heat

Only criticism is that the house's heat is limited. Upstairs bedroom were cold at night.

Yes - we are heat and insulation challenged as ours is a true cape house. Sorry this was not clear at time of booking.

Sagamore Beach House

Check in was easy. The house was perfect- especially love the huge porch overlooking the beach. Nice quiet location off the beaten path, and plenty of parking across the street. Would definitely stay again.

PERFECT!

This is what you imagine when you think about a family vacation in a beach house on Cape Cod. The Porch! More time was spent on this porch than anywhere in the house. Mornings watching spectacular sunrises to full moon risings at night and afternoon thunderstorms with rainbows. The kitchen was a great gathering spot for family and friends while you cooked. Great quality cookware and utensils, nothing was missing. The bar sink and area as well as the coffee sink and station were bonus spaces. Game nights in the living room before heading to bed, letting the surf lull you to sleep. You will never want to leave the “Rotten House” The family photos showed the love and life that this home holds. It was an honor to stay! I will be back.

Beautiful week on Sagamore Beach!

The house was beautiful, and very clean. Thankful for plenty of beach towels and linens--less things to pack! There was a great beach shelter, chairs and Cornhole available for use in the basement. Location is perfect -- on the beach and close to the Cape Cod Canal. Looking forward to more time on the wonderful porch on the future!

Great view

The house was great with the exception of the upstairs bedrooms. It had some old bedding and headboard of beds were from the 70’s. It needs some updating upstairs. Everything else was great.

Great summer house

This is a wonderful old summer house with an old fashioned feel which we enjoyed. The big wide porch is fabulous and the setting is right on the beach. We walked and swam and read.

BEAUTIFUL!

We had the best Labor Day weekend here. The photos absolutely don’t do the deck and the location on the beach justice. We spent our days on the beach and our nights grilling on the deck and around the fire pit on the beach. Caretaker Bob went above and beyond to help us out with recommendations for local takeout and activities, and making the check in and check out process a breeze. A total dream weekend. I hope we’ll be back!

Cottage with a view of a Nor’easter

There’s no better place to view a Nor’Easter than the porch and living room of this cottage. The winds were 60mph and the surf raging but the cottage was warm and toasty with the addition of 2 space heaters. Lots of fun.

End of Season Idyll

Unbeatable spot, excellent house, very well equipped with EVERYTHING one could want/need. Had to leave a day early as return flights to UK changed because of hurricane. We brought in all cushions as directed and glass tables etc. as hurricane approached - dramatic winds & seas. Delightful all too brief vacation.
