Great location!

Our stay was great! Location was perfect and views were great! The place was pretty and decorated so cute. Check in was weird because no one was at the counter for a long time. One of the beds was broken and was not fixed during our 3 night stay! House keeping could do a better job on the floors. We had to wear shoes the whole time the floors were not clean at all. But over all we had a blast and loved the balcony!!

Gulf shores

Very nice, clean and comfy place to stay. Host was amazing answered very quickly with any questions and concerns we had. Definitely a 5 star from us! We highly recommend this place! We will definitely book our next stay here!

Great stay in Gulf Shores

We loved the property. It was in such a great location and close to the beach. The only negative item was the pull out sofa. It was broken, but we managed with only one sleeper on it. We enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful views! The condo had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable!! It is hard to go back to work after this! We will be back! :)

Walking distance

We always enjoy our time spent in Gulf Shores. This trip was especially nice, because the condo was walking distance to almost everything that we wanted to do. We typically stay closer to Orange Beach and have to drive to all the restaurants and shops, but the San Carlos is close to everything. We loved it!

Amazing stay! Great location!

Beautiful condo is located steps away from the Hangout and other restaurants. Beautiful beach property made for a relaxing vacation. My family enjoyed pool, beach access, surrounding shops, and restaurants. No need to drive anywhere. Everything was walking distance. Perfect!!! And will definitely use this condo again for future vacation bookings.

Location was awesome. We were at Gulf Shores for a school State Track Meet. and the property manager was very helpful in checking us early, extending our day, and providing a new door code at 11:30 at night. I would definitely stay again.

Great location

I loved the location and the amenities. The carpet is not in good condition, living room furniture is a bit worn-out, the ironing board won’t fold up. Of course the parking is tight. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

Awesome!!!

Just as described. Large and clean with everything you need for an awesome beach vacation. We had plenty of room to spread out if we wanted to. Awesome that that each bedroom (3) has its own bath. Just bring your suit and some food and you are set for a great time.

Nice place

Nice place with a good location. The only real negatives were a smoker on the floor below us whose smoke filled the air when we were on the balcony. Also the pool wasn’t open, a fact not conveyed by the property manager.

Great Room

The room was spacious and had everything you needed for the week. The pool furniture was upgraded this year and very nice. Everything is in walking distance that’s nice so you don’t have to get vehicle out and find somewhere to park. A few of the not so good things…… The $50 to park is a little much and even then if no spaces in have park across the 4 lane street in the overflow lot. For the price on the condo the parking should be included. The pool area is extremely small. Yes I know it’s a beach vacation but the pool was packed with people every day. The weekend staff very rude and unfriendly. Weekday staff was great

The property itself is in a prime location. This is my 3rd stay at San Carlos.

Room 703 needs some updating, the living room furniture is very uncomfortable primarily the sofa bed when sitting, we did not use for sleeping. The toilet in the main master is not level and rocks when you sit on it. The air condition is very noisy as it turns on and off. The cable is bare minimum. Overall not bad but does need some attention. We will continue to stay at the San Carlos. Thank you

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I did not bring an iron since it stated there was one provided but we were unable to find one. The ironing board was there but no iron and in the management's defense they may not have been aware. We managed fine anyway (just a lil wrinkled-lol). The pool are was nice and we especially loved the canopies that draped above for shade for our lil one. Would definitely stay again. The only draw back that I found - when you rent a condo with 3 BR, more than 2 parking passes should be allowed if needed. With my 2 grown children meeting us there we were told we could not purchase another pass and I do not like to park away from where we are staying.

Beautiful Condo

Beautiful condo right in the heart of Gulf Shores. Everything worked perfectly in the unit and was very clean. The kitchen was well sticked for cooking which was very nice with the Covid19 restrictions. Super comfy mattress in master bedroom. I realized I did not have the code for the unit when we arrived. Turns out it was my issue as the original email had went to my junk mailbox. But I contacted Regina and she immediately answered and texted me the code. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, but that’s about it

Parking at San Carlos is crazy, as there’s not nearly enough parking at the complex—I’m not sure there’s enough for even one car per unit! “Overflow” parking is across a four-lane highway, to which there is no close crosswalk or traffic signal. Three elevators serve the entire complex, and wait times are often long, especially when one or even two of the elevators are out of service (yes, during our stay two were out). The unit we rented is simply “tired”, but it doesn’t appear to have ever been “nice”, as the appliances and most furnishings seem to be hand-me-downs or bargain finds. The property itself looks good at a distance, but upon closer inspection, there doesn’t appear to be much daily maintenance/cleaning. The specific unit we rented was not clean enough for us upon check-in, but others may have settled for its level of “clean”; we however cleaned it ourselves and cleaned up a lot of crumbs, sand and hair. None of this ruined our stay, and we loved Gulf Shores, but we’re probably not staying at this complex again and definitely not in the same unit, unless it undergoes a significant remodel and upgrade.
