Great place and great owner

Even though the weather did not cooperate, stay was perfect after spending a month in hotels. Close to some very good vineyards! Highly recommend

Joe Rao is the ultimate host. He iw warm and welcoming. The Finger Lakes in the early Fall are just beautiful.

Great location

The location was great. Easy access to attractions and wineries. The sunsets are amazing. Joe has a book filled with all the information you need for your stay.

We loved staying here for our vacation! It is a great location, and our family loved everything about the cottage and the lake. Joe goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable and fun. We highly recommend!

Great Stay in a Great Location!

We absolutely loved staying here. The property was exactly as described and was very quiet, the hosts very pleasant & helpful. The location was amazing: cottage literally is a few steps away from the lake, plus less than a 15 minute drive to a high-quality grocery store, many wineries, and lots of microbreweries too. Thanks Joe -- we'll be back!

Loved the Lakehouse.

This was a great stay for us. Joe is amazing and the location is very quiet and relaxing. We loved sitting out by the dock and enjoying a snack at sunset. Great host.

Quiet with a View

Very little we needed to bring. All essentials were provided. WiFi was iffy but that’s not what’s needed on vacation. Great access to wineries, breweries and restaurants.

Family weekend

My husband and I and our 2 daughters stayed here for a weekend. We came for a friends wedding at Ventosa vineyards. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the lake. It was relaxing and fun !

Great First Time Finger Lakes Vacation

The cottage was exactly as advertised plus a great place from which to explore the region...especially Lake Seneca and Lake Cayuga. If you need a place just to sit and watch the water and enjoy sunsets this is it! Owner Joe was very welcoming and accessible. Stay here!

Beautiful Place!

I will definitely be back again! This cottage is everything I wanted plus more with great views! The owner will do whatever needed to make you feel comfortable and right at home! It was a great weekend away!

We used this place as a hub to explore the Finger Lakes, the waterfall/gorges, wineries, and Corning Glass Museum. Sorry we did not take advantage of the lake more. We just ran out of time.

Short getaway

We were thinking about a last minute getaway and Joe’s cottage was just what we were looking for! The cottage is lovely, clean, and equipped with everything. The patio, deck, and Lakefront were perfect for relaxing, with great views. Joe was easy to reach with any questions. We hope to visit again!

Fantastic Long Weekend

We had a fantastic long weekend. Joe is a wonderful host. The house was immaculately clean inside, had all the amenities you could need and a cozy feel. The views of the lake and surrounding are gorgeous and the property is perfect for enjoying it all. The location can't be beat. It is just a short drive to all the best restaurants, wineries and breweries in the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return,
