Peaceful Bayview Studio @ The Shores, Traverse City

Wake up to sunlight filtering through the pines and peek-a-boo views of East Grand Traverse Bay from your own cedar deck. This third-floor studio at The Shores is a quiet, tucked-away retreat — 600 feet of shared shoreline just a short stroll away.

The studio sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette (stovetop, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee maker — no oven). A private cedar deck offers a dining nook and bay views through the trees. Note: there's no in-unit laundry, though shared laundry is available on site.

The Shores puts you close to 600 feet of shared beach, Bayshore Park, and seasonal kayak, SUP, and boat rentals just steps from the building.

Downtown Traverse City is about 15 minutes away, with Grand Traverse Resort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Turtle Creek Casino all within easy reach.

Whether it's a romantic retreat, a small getaway, or a wine weekend, this studio delivers a quiet stretch of shoreline with genuine Northern Michigan charm. We'd love to have you stay with us.

This was a PERFECT solo trip! Felt super safe. Plus I sent over my ideal plans and they sent excellent hike recommendations and beach front view recommendations.

Cute and comfortable!

This property is in a great location. I stayed here while I was attending a conference at Grand Traverse Resort. Close to the resort, a short walk to the beach, close to downtown Traverse City, and all amenities. It was very clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought there was too much communication. Overall it was great! The room was comfortable, it was perfect for the two of us. Very clean, nice furniture.

Cool Little Studio

Small but stylish and cozy place. I really enjoyed my time here. I loved the view from the balcony. The shower was great. The heat in the room was awesome, which was important because I stayed there in the winter. It was a very comfortable spot close to downtown. Thank you!

Just do it!

I came here for the peak of fall colors. The location, colors and everything was just perfect! We did wineries, breweries and the casino. Other days we just stayed on the property to enjoy the scenery. I will definitely be back!

We had to book the condo last minute due to our other reservation at another location falling through Condo was clean but could use a couple things. Coffee maker did not work and the fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced.

Not everything works.

Our TV had poor reception couldn't watch it. Asked for help, someone came out to look at it but couldn't do anything about it at that time. We contacted the person through Vrbo and they said they would give partial refund which has not happened. I have messages stating that there would be a partial refund.

It met our basic needs for a three day stay in the area. Overall underwhelmed. For starters, we arrived at our appointed time to find the housekeeping staff still working on our room. It took over an hour to have it compete. Needless to say we got off to a bad start. Inside the room was clean and fairly well kept. It was smaller that we had imagined but it met our needs. The colors on the wall and the lighting made the place look drab and lacked the cheerfulness of the pictures. The unit has seen wear and tear over the years and could use a good refresh. Also the trees have grown up to the point that much of the view of the lake is obscurred.

Convenient for family

Close to the beach, easy to run back and fourth to the room if you have kids and need to do naps. Down side our refrigerator wouldn’t close and the bathroom and screen door were so loud and hard to open. The fees were outrageous considering there was no cleaning service, breakfast or open pool. For the price I would have stayed more in town.

Beautiful views

The unit was set back from Grand Traverse Bay with gorgeous views from the balcony. Unit was spotless, and comfortable. Had an excellent time and would definitely rent again!
