Una casa per le vacanze di recente costruzione, Acadia Cove Cabin si trova in un ambiente boscoso appartato sul litorale di Somes Sound, l'unico fiordo sulla costa orientale degli Stati Uniti. Situata al confine del Parco Nazionale di Acadia e attraverso Somes Sound dalla famosa Sargent's Drive, questa casa a due piani con vista sull'oceano può ospitare fino a 8 persone e gode di una splendida vista sul Sound, vicino alle montagne Norumbega, Sargent e Acadia, e un incantevole litorale boscoso e baia privata. La cabina è situata in posizione centrale sul Monte. Desert Island con solo un breve tragitto in auto da Southwest Harbor, dal lago Echo e dai percorsi e siti del Parco Nazionale Acadia. Dal tuo ponte, osserva le barche a vela e lobsterman a distanza ravvicinata, lancia il tuo kayak dalla bellissima costa privata e goditi la straordinaria combinazione di boschi, acqua, fauna selvatica e sporgenze di granito.

Questa nuova casa ha un moderno design Salt Box con un ampio soggiorno e vista sull'oceano e sulle montagne. Ci sono due camere da letto private con letti matrimoniali, un ampio soppalco con due letti singoli e un altro letto matrimoniale in una zona semi-privata. Ci sono 1. 5 bagni, servizi moderni e nuovi tra cui una grande cucina con vista sull'oceano, lavatrice e asciugatrice, un grande ponte di fronte a Somes Sound, parcheggio privato e un facile accesso alla riva in un ambiente boschivo appartato.

Our long weekend at ACC was exactly perfect. The cabin is beautifully designed, decorated simply, and had above and beyond what we needed. The water views with the fall trees were breathtaking. The space is very private, and while we noticed there were other properties close when we walked down to the water, we didn’t see or hear other humans for the entirety of our stay. We couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect space or experience, and know it will stay with us for a long time.

Upscale Waterfront Cabin with Spectacular Views

We stayed for a week to enjoy Acadia, hike and experience Mount Desert Island. The cabin was a perfect choice for our group of two couples with room to spare. The setting was about as perfect as it gets.

The Perfect Stay

Quiet, beautiful and a great sized cabin. Can’t beat that view! We loved every minute of our stay. This cabin is on the quiet side of MDI which we really appreciated. We went into Acadia daily which was close and enjoyed bar harbor but then came back to a peaceful cabin. Owner was extremely kind, proactive and responsive. He answered all our questions and he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would HIGHLY recommend this wonderful spot!

Beautiful View, Great Location

So much to enjoy about Acadia Cove Cabin: watching the sun rise over the mountain, the beautiful view of Somes Sound, and, of course, the close proximity to the amazing hiking and biking trails at Acadia National Park. My wife and I really enjoyed our week here.

Beautiful Getaway on Somes Sound

This lovely cabin directly on the sound has amazing views and easy access to the water should you want to dive in. John, the owner, was super helpful, and he has a paddle board for your use and a great fire pit by the water. We truly enjoyed our stay, including the location, views, great beds, beautiful great room and kitchen. Looking forward to our next stay.

Fall trip to Acadia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ACC cabin. It was very clean, the views are great, there’s a fire pit and a paddle board with life vests provided. It did become difficult with our group of seven having only one shower but this is clearly stated in the description. Overall, it was a great place to stay on the quiet side of Acadia!

A little slice of Heaven!! Great location

We loved our stay at this cabin while visiting Acadia National Park! The location was perfect for relaxing and just a short drive into Bar Harbor for dinners etc. It is a great central location if you are visiting ANP and close to many of the sights on our must do list!! We also loved Southwest Harbor as well. But the scenery at the cabin was so nice we opted for dinner IN and smores a couple of nights! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property and Cabin

We had such a wonderful stay! The cabin and property was perfect for our group of 6. The cabin was clean and kitchen fully stocked. We had a fire pit and paddeboarded right off the property. Owner was very helpful with everything. Quiet and great location on the “quiet side” of the island. Highly recommend this property!

Another fabulous stay at Acadia Cove

Once again, we enjoyed the mountains, sea, and forest of Somes Sound and Acadia. You won't find a more peaceful, tranquil house, while still being just minutes away from restaurants and shops in Southwest Harbor. We do miss having a TV, as we'd like to be able enjoy watching a movie or baseball game together as a family, instead of individually and separately huddling over iPads, but other than that it's ideal.

A bit of heaven

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The view of the sound and the sun rising up over the mountaintops in the morning are second to none. The wildlife only adds to the beauty of the place. The owner, John, was very informative and provided great information about the local area. We were happy we made the choice we did.

Wonderful vacation spot

Can’t recommend this place enough. The views and location are a dream! We came to visit Acadia National Park which was an easy drive, but we could easily have enjoyed a vacation never leaving the cabin. Our kids loved heading down to the shore and going out on the paddle board. We loved reading in the hammock, or drinking coffee by the water or on the deck. We saw all kinds of wildlife, the weather was beautiful and John was very responsive. We would gladly come here again if we get the chance!

This new house replaced an earlier vacation home. The property has been in our family since the 1880s and we are related to Cyrus Hall, for which Hall Quarry is named. We have another home on the 9 acre property (not visible from Acadia Cove Cabin) and a family member is usually nearby during the summer rental season.
