This is a fantastic home. Very close to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. Sherri was very responsive to us. We highly recommend.

Our family had an amazing time in Acadia, and Shellseeker was the perfect home base for our adventures. The property is located a short drive from Bar Harbor in a quiet neighborhood with private beach access. It was easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The house was well equipped and comfortable for our family. Our host Sherri was very attentive and made sure to walk us through the check-in process, things about the property, and the surrounding area. We definitely would stay here again when we return for another trip to Acadia. Thanks for sharing your place with our family!

We had a wonderful time! The house’s location and view was perfect. Only issue was no propane for the grill but we were able to pivot. Hoping to be back some day.

It was a pleasure hosting you and family, and I was happy for your texts to hear about how much you were enjoying your stay at Shellseekers. We have three separate propane tanks there at the house, and a note for guests to let us know when they empty one. Apologies that we weren't informed on this prior to your arrival but glad we were able to get the propane tank refilled the next morning and drop it off for your use. It really is such a lovely and peaceful location and hopefully you will be back to enjoy it once again.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Shellseekers. We were a group of six - four adults and two teenagers, and slept quite comfortably. It was a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but only a 15 minute drive into town or into Acadia. We loved how peaceful the location was, and the view from the back porch just can not be beat! Sheri is a great host and made sure everything about the stay was to your liking.

Quiet. Waterfront access via steps. Great view. Saw a Bald Eagle in the Pine Tree outside the living room window. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

We had a great stay here. We loved the private beach access and hammocks where we could relax and explore in private. The location was great as well being close to Bar Harbor, but also not a bad drive to both sides of the island. There was plenty of room for our family and golden retriever to hang out and rest inside. The beds and bathrooms were very clean and we felt cozy being there.
