This is a great place to stay and is very cozy. We were in town for a wedding and had family staying close by so this carriage house was the perfect spot for us to be close to them!!

This place is super, super clean, quiet, and only about ten minutes from downtown Lexington. So peaceful!! Great stay!

Such a wonderful, quiet place to get away! Everything is thoughtfully planned out, communication is very easy and the place is super clean and organized. We celebrated our 30th anniversary here and enjoyed a drive in movie theater (right down the road), some hiking, wandered Lexington, enjoyed some local eats, even drove out to Humpback Bridge and happened to meet the 15th generational grandson of the builder, who just happened to be there and took our picture! We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of looking out the patio and watching the "neigh"bor's horses, several deer and fawns and bunnies. I really love the Dutch Door! It was great to be able to be secluded, but also close enough to do things and then come back to enjoy the firepit. We grilled one night there and the kitchen was great for cooking that and our breakfasts. We were out for lunchtime. Very comfortable place to stay at and just hang out or use as a base to explore the area. Joe and Jennie gave great suggestions for places to eat and things to do before we arrived. I have already passed along to friends as an option if they want to get away from the rat race for a bit.

Always an excellent stay at the Carriage House! The location is convenient, peaceful and comfortable. I even left my eyeglasses and they were kind enough to mail them back to me! I will definitely be back!

Great getaway

I stayed in this private apartment during a trip to the Virginia horse center. The location is very private and a beautiful neighborhood and is above an independent garage has a great little patio, Beautiful paddocks, the bed is super comfortable as well as the couch and a very functional kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and peaceful rental property. We have stayed here before and will again. Nice location for visiting various attractions. Property owner was very responsive and the overall booking experience was easy. As advertised.

Cozy loft experience

I enjoyed my stay in the Cottage House Loft durong my visit to Lexington. The loft was very clean and had all the amenities of home. I would definitely stay here again, thank you for the great experience!

Great getaway in the mountains

Exactly as Advertised and a Great Place to Stay

We stayed at the Timber Ridge Carriage House for our grandson's graduation from VMI. Perfect for a couple, with everything you need in a cozy setting. Clean as a whistle and everything in tip-top shape. The area is gorgeous, too. We walked up one of the Timber Ridge mountains and the scene was breath-taking. Highly recommend.

Charming, Charming, Charming!

This is such a lovely place to stay!! We were in town for a wedding and I wish we had been free to spend more time in this studio. It was cozy, fully outfitted and the bed was very comfortable! I would stay again and recommend it to anyone!! Five stars!!!

Nice Getaway

The owner thought of everything you might need at this lovely carriage house. It is beautifully appointed, comfortable and private, and many nice amenities are provided. The fire pit and porch are great places to relax. We will be back!

Lovely!!

Joe and Jennie are wonderful hosts. The property is very well appointed with everything you need for a home away from home. So cozy and comfortable - The bed was really comfortable including the linens. Communication was prompt and when I had to cancel last minute due to illness, they were gracious and allowed me to move our weekend trip to a later date. It is a quick drive to Lexington right off the highway. We hope to stay again!
