The property is lovely, sitting right on a private beach which is sandier -- less pebbly -- than other North Fork beaches. We enjoyed walking barefoot without the protection of the aquasocks we needed in other places.
The house is wonderful too, nicely decorated in the soothing pastels and whites appropriate to a beach house. The bath towels are thick and soft, and beach towels aplenty too. The kitchen is marvelously outfitted with quality items thoughtfully selected for real cooking: a large set of kitchen knives, even including a serrated bread knife, silicone kitchen mitts, a vegetable pan for the grill, the list goes on and on. The Wi-Fi is good and handled the many devices we used with no problem. Our son-in-law was surprised and delighted to be able to introduce our grandson to the joys of Mario Kart.
Erin was quick in responding to any question I had. This is a top-notch place to have a peaceful summer vacation on Long Island's North Fork.
