We regret to hear you had a negative experience due to the door lock and the subsequent charge for repairs. We'd like to provide clarification for a better understanding of the circumstances. Upon receiving your report of the door lock falling off of the frame, our top priority was to address the safety concern promptly. After conducting a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the damage was due to forced entry at some point during your stay. The rental property was thoroughly inspected prior to your arrival, showing that there was no evidence of a faulty door frame. It is our policy to hold guests responsible for any accidental damage that occurs during their stay with us. Unfortunately, this necessitated repairs that we had to address promptly to ensure the safety and security of our future guests. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office directly.
