The property was immaculately clean and nicely appointed. We really appreciated the safety features, including the fire extinguishers throughout and the lights leading up the staircases. Our family rented a speedboat from the nearby marina for the day! We went tubing and exploring the lake which was a lot of fun. The dock was so nice to load and unload the boat. We wish that the extremely steep road leading up to the house was mentioned in the property description (it only mentions the incline of the walk from dock to house), especially for visitors who are not familiar with the region. Otherwise it has a spectacular view, gorgeous house, and the surrounding community has many year-round activities for the entire family.

We had a great time over thanksgiving! Kitchen is fully stocked to cook a meal with pretty much anything you would need. They had decorated the cabin for Christmas and it was a nice touch! We are already discussing coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Great Stay for a Family Vacation

My family had a great time here! The house was very clean and the hosts were easy to contact. There wasn’t a yard for young kids to run around but a playground was nearby.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in the Butler cabin. It was such a relaxing place to be and we enjoyed all the amenities that were offered.

Serene setting

Chris and Laura’s cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was the perfect size for our two families. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole atmosphere of the cabin was very cozy.

Great stay at this cabin!

We had a great time at this cabin! The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Clean and neat and well appointed. It’s close to food and grocery and there were plenty of recreation areas and parks close by to exercise our dog. Would absolutely recommend staying there!

Family getaway

The cabin was clean and beautiful, just as described. It served as a comfortable home base for our family’s mountain and lake adventures. We enjoyed the views from the deck, paddle boarding and swimming from the dock, and catching up with old friends who live in the area.

Our youngest daughter graduated from ETSU, our family stayed in this wonderful cabin. The best views ever! This cabin is clearly owned by a family that cares about your experience. #1 vote for a family getaway that wants peace and family time. Cleanliness is a must for us and it was perfect. Appalachian trail hiking trip

Loved sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and a book after hiking all day. Beds were comfy, wine cooler refrigerator was a bonus. Owner was quickly responsive to any questions.

Exceptional Stay

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and fully stocked with the necessities. Beautiful scenery on the mountains with awesome nearby trails! Laura was super accommodating and allowed us to check in early when we arrived earlier than expected from an out of state commute. Would definitely recommend this property to other. Will certainly stay again when back in the area!
