It was an absolute pleasure hosting these guests! They were wonderful from start to finish—friendly, respectful, communicative, and incredibly considerate of the property. They treated the home as if it were their own, followed all house rules, and left everything clean and in excellent condition. Communication was easy and pleasant throughout their stay. I would gladly host them again and highly recommend them to any host!

This is a beautiful home with great views - our only thing was we had the kids with us and they wanted to spend alot of time around the water - with the hurricane damage the water was not as accessible as we hoped - Everything else was great.

Elk River Cabin was everything we could have hoped for. The home is beautiful, spacious, and stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The views are breathtaking! It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Suzanne and Todd are excellent hosts. Very responsive and kind. We highly recommend!!

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. The bed sheets were so soft! You can tell that the hosts really take pride in this property. The host was very responsive to questions. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Would highly recommend, will stay again!

This home was perfection, beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved spending the weekend here for our ski trip. We were worried about it being too far of a drive from Boone Ski Resort but it was not bad at all. We would stay here again for our next trip! The hot tub was amazing and the host was very clear and kind in their communication. The beds were also very comfy!

Great cabin with privacy and amenities for family

We were so impressed with Doug’s care of our home. They were respectful, communicative, and left everything in perfect order. Left it nice and clean! We highly recommend them and hope to see them again! I would recommend this guest.

We had an excellent stay. The home was extremely clean (honestly one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever booked) and the kitchen was unbelievably well stocked—every item we could possibly need was there, which made cooking and settling in so easy. The atmosphere of the place was amazing: comfortable, welcoming, and just a great space to relax. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything smooth from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Elk River Cabin the week of Christmas and loved it. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays, complete with a stunning Christmas tree that made it feel extra special. The hot tub was amazing, especially with the peaceful sounds of the river nearby. We also really enjoyed the pool table—perfect for relaxing evenings. Cozy, clean, and a wonderful place for a Christmas getaway. Highly recommend!

Be sure to write codes down before getting to property because until you get inside there is NO SERVICE. We learned that the hard way. This is such a beautiful property. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The views are stunning and the house is very spacious. We truly did not want to leave

Pristine cabin with beautiful views!

I recently stayed the weekend with my husband and other family members to get together for our dad’s celebration of life. It was the perfect place to gather. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and we enjoyed the beautiful woodwork and decor of this cabin. Beds were comfy and the views on the deck were spectacular. I highly recommend this cabin!

Spent Thanksgiving weekend with my family including 5mo granddaughter. Lots of comfortable seating. Clean. Big kitchen with plenty of equipment. Nice hot tub. Fun pool table. Beautiful house & views. Hosts very helpful & quick to respond. Hope to return to this lovely & peaceful home.

This cabin was lovely and had all the amenities needed for a nice, comfortable stay. Peaceful cabin with river access, comfortable beds, sufficient bedding and nice linens. This was the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and had extras from the host such as donuts, bottled waters, coffee pods and wine.For future visitors: Be sure to screenshot your door code because you won’t have internet or phone signal to access online once you’re there before connecting to their WiFi.If you’re looking for a lovely place to peacefully disconnect or enjoy family time, this is a great place to stay.

This was an absolutely beautiful property. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend. The kitchen was excellent, one of the best stocked I've ever seen. Our host was so kind and welcomed us with goodies. So kind! The beds were very comfortable. We took a day trip to Boone. Very easy drive and so much fun! We enjoyed playing a few of the games with our family. We will definately be back! Thank you Todd and Suzanne!
