We also appreciate your feedback about the sandy beach, please note that all homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos. Jennifer, thank you you for your visit, and especially your feedback. It is unfortunate that you had this experience the first night, but we're happy we were able to resolve this the next day. Yes, in an effort to do our part and conserve energy, we do install timers in lieu of light switches; this does not apply to the AC units. Installing washers and dryers at the properties also contributes to our conservation efforts, we surely hope guests understand. Rest assured, we'll take the feedback regarding the furniture to see where improvements can be made. The same applies to the dishwasher. We also apologize that we were unable to fully resolve the AC issues during your stay despite our team’s efforts to troubleshoot and repair the units. We always encourage our guests to bring any concerns to our attention in real time during their stay so that we have the opportunity to address them promptly and make things right whenever possible. Had we known about the floors during your stay, we would have been happy to send our housekeeping team back to thoroughly address them.
