Vieni a costruire ricordi con la tua famiglia nel nostro condominio come abbiamo fatto nelle ultime dieci stagioni ed estati sciistiche. Il condominio ha due camere da letto un comodo letto matrimoniale in una camera da letto e un letto a castello full bottom / twin nella seconda camera da letto. Entrambi hanno ristrutturato i bagni completi in allegato. C'è una cucina completa con frigorifero di dimensioni standard, piano cottura, forno, microonde e lavastoviglie con tutti gli utensili necessari per cucinare e mangiare.

Puoi vedere le piste dal balcone proprio dal soggiorno. Rilassati nel soggiorno accanto al vero camino a legna o guarda un film in TV. Questa unità si trova all'ultimo piano, quindi è molto silenziosa.

Quando sei pronto per uscire, cammina per 200 metri fino all'ascensore ad alta velocità da 6 pack che ti porterà in cima al Durango Mountain. Goditi le piste tipicamente tranquille sui tuoi cieli o snowboard. Porta te stesso il principiante ad esperte lezioni di sci o di bordo e fai imparare ai tuoi figli da insegnanti di prim'ordine.

The Bears Den è disponibile per guardare neonati e bambini piccoli mentre sciate. Alla fine della giornata, rilassati nel nuovissimo Purgatory Lodge alla base o goditi i negozi. Per un relax più privato, siediti accanto a un vero camino a legna nel condominio o sistemati nella vasca idromassaggio interna situata proprio in fondo al corridoio. Puoi guardare un film in DVD o VHS o navigare in Internet sulla banda larga wireless dal condominio.

Per qualcosa di diverso, vai in motoslitta nel backcountry da una distanza a piedi dal condominio o fai un tubing alla base della montagna nel pomeriggio e alla sera. Puoi attraversare la strada per il centro nordico per chilometri di piste da fondo. Se sei davvero avventuroso, puoi iscriverti allo sci gatto delle nevi che parte dal lodge principale.

Anche l'estate è fantastica con tonnellate di opzioni per escursioni, mountain bike, pesca e visite turistiche. Ci sono attività divertenti nel resort. Anche il treno Durango-Silverton è un grande successo.

Ce n'è sicuramente per tutti i gusti. Parcheggia la tua auto quando arrivi e rilassati. Tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno è a pochi minuti a piedi.

Great location and very clean

Very clean place with well appointed kitchen. Heat worked well and the hot water never failed. The wife loved it and we would stay here again.

This was a great home away from home. My son and I had a great time staying here. It was a very relaxing environment allowing us to unwind for the week. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great ski in and out condo

We have stayed 2x now, about 2 years apart. Condo is clean, well provisioned and easy access to the Purgatory Express lift. Our family enjoyed it.

Great Location

Great Location if you are skiing. Short easy walk to Lift 1 so lunch break in the condo was a bonus. Kitchen has everything needed to cook and enjoying dining in. Owner communication was very quick and responsive to our needs.

Nice, cozy place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as described. We fully utilized the kitchen (and crock pot). Being able to pop in for lunch while skiing is nice. A few tips: bring your own streaming stick and an extra towel for the hot tub.

Nice, clean, comfortable unit that has everything you need. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, knives, spices, condiments, etc, etc. Sofa unfolds into a small bed. Perfect for kids. The location was exceptional and close to the main lift which allowed us to pop back to use the restroom or take a quick break throughout the day. There is a large indoor hot tub in the building one floor down which faces the mountains, is very well maintained and it’s a relaxing way to end the day. We lucked out and booked our trip for the best week of the season and we were stoked with how well it turned out! Thanks for a great stay!

Great condo with easy access to slopes

My family of 4 had a wonderful time staying at Rick’s condo. The kitchen was stocked with everything. It was a 3 minute walk to the slopes. The condo was quiet and my kids enjoyed the hut tub. We look forward to coming again!

Very adequate and comfortable

A little far from town than what we wanted, but it was comfortable and clean. Beds a bit too firm for us but still slept well. Overall happy, no real complaints.

Town is 20 -25 miles from the condo but we do have that in the listing. It is an easy and picturesque drive. As far as beds, we have very new mattresses with memory foam toppers. Bed firmness is personal preference and we have had a lot of compliments on them. It seemed from our correspondence during your trip that you had fun so I’m a little surprised by a 4 star review. Perfect location!

Great place to stay for access to the ski resort. 5 minute walk and you are on the lift! The condo complex itself is an older property, but this unit has been beautifully and thoughtfully updated. The kitchen truly had everything I needed to make 3 meals a day for my family. The owner is super responsive, helpful, and kind. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for such a great experience for our annual family ski trip!!

Family Friendly Condo at Angelhaus

Loved our stay at Angelhaus! We love the family friendly feel of Purgatory, and this condo was great for our family of five which includes three kids under 7! We’ve stayed at other condos here before, but Rick’s condo felt more like a home away from home! After a long day on the slopes, we enjoyed the comfort and extra touches the host provided which was evidence the family used this condo for personal use. We especially loved the family friendly movie collection, the shoe rack near the door, the numerous hooks and wall pegs for hanging coats, and facial tissues in the restrooms! We’ll be staying here again!

We had wonderful stay and the Bear's Den. Everything worked except the dishwasher. Dishes needed to be pre-washed prior to dishwashing. I never found the outdoor ski locker for the unit. I found lockers for other units, but most of those lockers had lock damage.

Great location next to the slopes

My family went to Purgatory for a ski trip and stayed at this condo. It was very convenient to be so close to the resort. The walk to the lift was about 5 minutes and pretty easy. The condo was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We had a few questions for the owner (Rick) while we were there and he was very quick to reply. We did encounter one issue while staying there. Water was dripping from the ceiling in one of the bathrooms. Rick was aware and had already contacted maintenance but unfortunately it was not repaired while we were there so we had to deal with this. This was something out of Rick's control and he apologized for the hassle, but nonetheless it was a nuisance for my sons who were using that bathroom. Overall we had a great get-away and would stay here again.

Convenient ski in/out condo

My family rented this condo for a Purgatory ski trip. This was a convenient 2-3 min walk to the purgatory express lift. Easy checkin and the owner/manager was very responsive to inquiries (usually with in an hour). The condo has a good set up w the bedrooms on opposite sides of the living room. Overall a good experience (although the beds were on the hard side).

Amazing property and location

Angelhaus and Rick were a great choice for my vacation to Purgatory. Everything was convenient and the condo had everything we needed! The skiing was great! We will be back!!

We are currently a family of 5. Rick, Maria, Daughters age 22 and 20, a son 17. I have been skiing and boarding at Purgatory since 1983. As a family we have logged over 150 trips to this place since we bought here in March of 2003.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love everything thing about the Durango area in the winter and the summer. There is world class skiing, boarding, biking, hiking, fishing, etc! If you love the outdoors you could never be bored in this area.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Great ski mountain that is relatively undiscovered. Because it is more difficult to get to by plane than other resorts near large cities like Denver and Salt Lake City, lift lines are small so you can spend more time carving and less time riding lifts. There is a forest service road in the summer that takes you straight from the resort to amazing back country areas in just about any ordinary vehicle. The town of Durango is a great 1880's tourist town while also being a "real town" with businesses like Home Depot, Wall Mart, Ace, etc. More restaurants per capita than San Francisco we are told.
