Questo affascinante cottage ha una vista incredibile con un grande ponte seduto sulle dune, con vista sull'Oceano Atlantico. Niente passerella lunga per la spiaggia ... basta entrare nella sabbia dal ponte. Immergiti nella bellezza della creazione di Dio mentre respira le immagini e i suoni delle onde.

Lascia che la bellissima alba ti avvolga mentre sorseggi il tuo caffè mattutino. Di sera, dopo una passeggiata lungo la spiaggia, stendi una coperta e osserva le stelle mentre le onde schizzano accanto a te. Ringiovanisce il tuo corpo e la tua anima!

Questo è un rifugio speciale. La chiamiamo la nostra isola Oasis. Abbiamo trascorso molte vacanze qui e speriamo che lo troverai invitante come noi.

Abbiamo scoperto che, indipendentemente da dove viaggiamo, desideriamo la nostra oasi dell'isola. Per tutti gli anni che abbiamo trascorso qui, continuiamo a scoprire cose nuove ed eccitanti da fare.
Dalle passeggiate in carrozza trainata da cavalli lungo le strade di ciottoli del centro di Fernandina alle escursioni in segway attraverso i parchi nazionali alle gite di un giorno allo zoo di Jacksonville o Cumberland Island, ci sono molte attività per tenervi occupati. Sembra solo di scoprire che preferiamo tornare al Little Cottage in the Dunes.

Prossimamente per HOMEAWAY e VRBO: stiamo finendo gli ultimi dettagli di 2 nuove unità che abbiamo completamente rinnovato: Blue’s Bungalow e The Happy Place. Uno sarà il cane di piccola taglia! Chiama per maggiori informazioni:

We had a perfect stay at this well decorated, clean, comfortable cottage located directly on the beach. The host was incredibly attentive and helpful and we could not have asked for a better place for my husband and me to enjoy a long weekend away.

Quiet and Relaxing Experience

Our 5th stay at Amy’s Cottage by the Sea. The view of the ocean and dunes is awesome, even on the rare rainy day. The Cottage is clean and cozy and the location is unbeatable. With easy access to restaurants , the greenway and downtown shops. Our absolute favorite place to stay in Fernandina.

I felt there was too much email, texting. Most rentals come with a notebook giving details about use of tvs or funky light switches, restaurants, etc. this would have made many of the texts unnecessary. Perhaps others prefer frequent texts. I prefer to unplug on vacation. It was a lovely spot. Thanks.

You can't beat Amy's place in terms of being located right on a beautiful beach, convenient to town and restaurants, clean, well-equipped, and very well-managed. This is definitely our favorite place, and we have traveled the world over.

Ideal location for friends getaway!

First time to Fernandina Beach and absolutely loved it! Amy’s beachfront house was absolutely perfect! Gorgeous sunrises and long walks on the beach. Everything within 2 miles if you want to venture out. Would definitely recommend!

This beach cottage is a true gem! The location is fantastic and the views are dreamy! The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. Amy was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return soon.

Return to the cottage!

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage and hopefully we will be back for a 3rd! Waking up to the ocean view never gets old. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is very cozy. We truly love it!

Gorgeous view

This was my second visit to this Darling cottage on the ocean. Spectacular sunrises over the sea. The cottage is very clean and well equipped. The owner checked on our stay several times and was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions for dining. We will definitely return to this precious jewel.

Best views inside & out

Best oceanfront option on all of Amelia Island and best price, single family home or condo. Direct ocean access and direct oceans views from inside and from deck. Owner took great care in trying to stock everything a renter may need or want. Much, much nicer than most beach house rentals. Only con was on a non-windy day, which is rare, you may smell the paper plant for a couple of hours in the morning when outside. Highly recommend. Would definitely rent again.

Little bit of Heaven

This is my fourth year staying at the cottage. This year it was newly renovated and just as charming and wonderful. Communication with the host is excellent, I feel like we have become friends. For an example, in moving back into the newly renovated cottage we could not find a blender. A phone call and within the hour we had the blender. If you are looking for your little piece of heaven this is highly recommended.

Perfect vacation spot!

This is our second visit to the perfect spot on Fernandina Beach !! It was wonderful the first time, but this time we were greeted with a whole new layout and remodel!! The kitchen view is amazing!!! You can prepare meals and get a dose of “Vitamin Sea” just from the amazing view! It’s super clean and Amy is a super host and thinks of all the little things to make your stay more enjoyable! Did I mention you’re right on the beach?!!! A minute’s walk is very convenient and makes it that much more fun when you’re setting up for a day on the sand. You’re also less than two miles from downtown where you have shops and delicious restaurants. We have already rebooked and can’t wait to come back to one of our favorite spots!

Views of the ocean are beautiful. You are right on the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. Amy checked on us throughout the stay and promptly dealt with whatever issues arose. The cottage was perfect for us. This was our third time staying here, and each stay has been delightful.

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect place for a small families beach vacation 3rd year staying here home is always clean and owner includes all of the conveniences of home.Home is right on the beach and its in a beautiful family friendly area. We have never had one single problem or complant. Highly recommend!

Wow!! What a great place!

Wow! We loved this place! Nice ocean views from the deck or the living room; which has plenty of windows and a nice big sliding glass door. A few steps to the beach which was excellent! Great beach for walking, bike riding, tanning, or swimming.A short bike ride to Fort Clinch which we definitely took advantage of. A short car ride to downtown Fernandina where most of the shops and restaurants are. The property is clean, recently refurbished, well stocked, and Amy was very attentive and easy to get in touch with! The bed was comfy and the bathrooms were clean and bright!Everything was as it should be. Perfect set up for my wife and I. We were very pleased and look forward to coming back!!

We have vacationed on Amelia Island since I was a child. After I had children, we continued to visit Amelia Island. At some point we decided to visit other beaches. My children begged to go back to Amelia Island! We have always enjoyed searching for sharks' teeth, collecting seashells, biking downtown for ice-cream, feeding the birds.....Amelia Island is the place we long to be!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We fell in love with this property because of this little cottage. When I saw the unbelievable view of the ocean from inside the cottage, I started to cry. (And my husband knew it was a 'done deal'!) Our cottage has so much charm and character! It was built years ago, before the building setbacks were put in place. The location of our cottage is right on the sand! You just can't get any closer to the water! I think Amelia Island is special because it is not too commercialized. When you drive onto the island, you immediately feel the slower pace, the relaxed feel of the island! The main beach street has some new construction, but it also has a nice mix of old beach cottages that have been in families for years! It really adds a lot of character to the island. If you visit the downtown, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Families are strolling along the sidewalks and peeking into charming shops, locally owned bookstores, and coffee shops. You can't leave downtown without a taste of ice-cream or homemade fudge from the Fantastic Fudge Shop!
