Very clean, kitchen well stocked with utensils and appliances. Bring extra paper products, which I always do like toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex just in case not enough available, but anything requested they were right on it. Appliances all new. If like to fish there is dock fishing with easy access to dock as ground is flat. Firepit and nice lawn area for lawn games. Both bedrooms plenty room and lots of closet space throughout the cabin and vey nice bathrooms with plenty cabinet space. Beautiful view of the lake and very nice hosts. Nice table that seats 6 for eating and another round table for playing games. Comfortable chair and sofas for relaxing and watch TV if choose too.

Wonderful Experience

Our entire family had a wonderful time! The fishing was excellent, along with a very clean and comfortable lake house. Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to return!

Great Quiet Stay

We had a great stay and would definitely book again here. The layout was great and bathrooms were very nice. We also had luck fishing and caught fish every time we went out.

Ladies Weekend

Everything was great - The ease of checking in to checking out. The 3 bathrooms were great for 6 women staying there. The place is gorgeous: the view, the amenities and accommodations, the fire pit was nice and close and the owners were exceptional. We all enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year.

Farwell Cabin on Mill Lake

Very nice cabin for a family getaway. Very clean with well kept amenities also. Plenty of room for 10 people with the additional beds in the bunkhouse. The owners were also great to work with and we would recommend this rental if you are looking to stay in the area. The panfishing was pretty good also!

Great weekend retreat with friends

We had beautiful weather, we enjoyed time outdoors on the deck with a great view of the lake. While we didnt use the bunk house, I could see kids having a great time out there in their own lil fort. We enjoyed our stay and our time in the Alexandria area. I would definatly stay again.

Family vaca

The property is even better than in the photos. Great space for families, 3 bathrooms a plus. Loved that it was pet friendly. Use of the pontoon was one of my favorite things. Nice yard for games and hanging out.

Amazing!

My family and I loved our time at this lake home! It was clean, organized and very well stocked. We greatly enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake for meals and just relaxing in the sun. The dock and fishing on Mill Lake was great as an added bonus too! We hope to return!

Great week on Mill Lake

We had a wonderful time. Chuck was welcoming and quick to answer our questions. The cabin, large lawn for games, lake (and weather!) were perfect for our family. The 3 bathrooms in particular were ideal. We spent many hours on the spacious deck! Looking for to staying again.

Retirement, Relaxation, and Time with Family

The cabin was a perfect location to celebrate my retirement with family. We spent two weeks and had a great time! The cabin is very well kept, nicely furnished, and clean. The cabin central air and air conditioned bunk house was a huge benefit for the hot days. Chuck and Debbie are great hosts, they were receptive to all our questions and made us feel at home. We would definitely like to stay again!

Great family vacation

We had a great time at the Mill Lake Cabin! We had everything we needed and if there was something we did need or had a question, Chuck (the owner) was easy to reach! We loved the cabin, property and the lake. We were on the lake many times either fishing, tubing or just boating around and most times we had the lake to ourselves! Fishing was very good too! Ton of bass action for sure and plenty of keeper sunfish! We will definitely consider a return trip in the future!

Awesome house and location

House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.

Everything about this stay was convenient. it was 90 minutes closer to the metro than our usual trip. AC kept us cool, all the conveniences of home were included. The large deck had full shade by 1 each day. Lot's of room for everyone and a very chill vibe.

Beautiful rental

The house was beautiful and fully furnished sitting close to beautiful Mill Lake. In the listing a hot tub was shown as an amenity but was no where to be found. We also were told we could have use of the pontoon but the owners were using it since their's wasn't in the water. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting on the deck soaking up the sun. It was nice when we had questions because the owners live right next door. Thank you for a nice lake weekend up North!

Hands down, the best travel experience I have had to date! I used to spend summers at this lake at a resort, in a cabin. I was sad when that was sold off as private lots. I stumbled upon this and took a chance and it blew me away! The ease of working with the hosts and the cleanliness were both top notch, but the service…. Exceptional. We had two 12 year old boys and this is a trip they will never forget. The fishing was amazing and when I say we caught at least 100 fish, I’m being conservative. We tubed, we skied, we swam, we fished! It was exactly how lake life should be. Chuck, our host was tremendous and even took the boys sun fish fishing one day and twilight bass fishing another. The house had too much room for the 4 of us, and all the amenities of home. Close to Alexandria and a little general store if you needed something, but honestly, besides our groceries, they had everything you could want. Allowed the boys to use kayaks and a paddleboat and had tubes and skis as well. We brought our own boat, but they also have a pontoon boat you can rent. Location was perfect with a dock right out in front of the house on the shoreline. If you like to catch bass, blue gill, sunfish and northern, this is the lake you should go to. The views of the sunrise and sunset were incredible! Could not have been more impressed and we are already talking about our next trip there. Absolutely the most relaxing, fun, amazing rental experience we have had!

Girls winery weekend

My friends and I had such a great experience at the house on Mill Lake. Chuck was great in building a fire for us, so it was ready to go when we showed up Friday night.

Best shower we have had in a vacation property in a long time! Also nice to have the covered porch lakeside.
