We enjoyed our stay very much; very cute, cozy and very clean cabin. The outside area with the table and hot tub were very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. The steps up to the cabin are a little treacherous but other than that, we had a great stay in a very cute little cabin with owners who were helpful and respectful of our privacy.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It is so peaceful and the view of the lake is beautiful. We love watching the birds come to the feeders and seeing all of the tulips in bloom. A lovely stay!

Enjoyed the quiet setting, pan fishing via row boat and the hot tub. The location was reasonably close to restaurants and other activities which added to our enjoyment. Owners were pleasant to deal with.

We don't recommend or encourage guests to bring their own boats because we aren't set up for trailer parking. We do have a row boat, canoe, kayaks and sail boats available for our guests to use at no extra charge. Parking is an issue... sorry for any inconvenience.

Wonderful lakeside retreat

Partner and I had a great getaway to this beautiful place. Very comfy. Had so we needed especially in the kitchen. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed going down and enjoying it.

Great stay!

We had a great time. The hot tub was great! We stayed in the winter and the hot tub was nice and warm. If it’s winter, then I would be sure to have a 4x4 vehicle to get up the driveway.

We looked to get away from people, and this location did it! It was close to Alexandria, but far away from the busy-ness of it, and the location was beautiful as well!

Cozy getaway

The bungalow is the perfect place to get away from the speed of everyday life. It is cozy, warm, and comfortable. We loved our time here, and we hope to visit again in the summer!

Barry was welcoming when we arrived and had good suggestions for food and hiking trails. This was a spur of the moment trip my friend and I planned to Alexandria. Wonderful to relax in the hot tub at the end of each day. Enjoyed grilling out. Although weather limited our ability to be outside, had fun in the VRBO playing games etc. This is quiet location which we enjoyed. Kitchen had adequate supply of cooking utensils.

Barry & Glen are the sweetest! Their cabin was a perfect getaway for our family of young adults. The property and the Alexandria area provided a week’s worth of activities and fun memories.

Welcoming stay

Glenaris and Barry were such welcoming hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed, and were so fun to chat with. The property is beautiful, and our kids had a blast swimming and playing.

Wonderful little bungalow

Loved that hot tub, especially in February! All is exactly as you see it in the photos and as well with all the great reviews about these wonderful owners. I can’t wait to come back to this comfy spot and enjoy it in the summer!

Quaint little bungalow in quiet area

We enjoyed our stay here. There is a little bit of a walk up and down the driveway to get to the water but it’s very pretty and very quiet there.
