This house is amazing! From the large deck and screened in porch with a fantastic view of the lake to the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.Especially helpful to have garage parking available.The host was more than accommodating.Would definitely stay here again.

The family jewel is a jewel indeed!

Our stay was great, the location was wonderful, quiet and peaceful. The amenities were great! We had plenty of room for our large family and their guests. We loved being able to fish off the dock and enjoyed renting a boat to use as well. Definitely would stay again!

Great Place for a Family Getaway

We've been traveling to the Lake of the Ozarks for vacation all of our lives (usually multiple times per year). This was our 'big stay' where the whole family came together and it worked out great for us. Plenty of room, and lots of beds and it was clean and well-maintained. We're pretty familiar with the lake and we like this location since it's close to some restaurants but not as busy as it is up the lake a bit. I would definitely recommend this for a family vacation!

Wonderful House on a Quiet Deep Water Cove

We had an incredible stay at this Lake of the Ozarks property! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group getaway. We especially loved the oversized dock with two boat slips — we used the covered slip all weekend and it was perfect for keeping our boat safe and easily accessible. The hot tub and both the indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces made it easy to relax and enjoy the lake atmosphere. Another major perk was the ample parking, which easily accommodated all of our vehicles. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a fun and comfortable VRBO stay on the lake!

Amazing!

Very impressed with this booking and stay. Ben was amazing at answering all my questions, the check-in process was easy breezy and the home was perfect! We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with our children and their spouses and the home offered plenty of private bedrooms, bathrooms, porch areas and open spaces. Between the location, amenities, location and Ben I would HIGHLY recommend the "Jewel on the lake" :-)

Pictures do not do it justice

This place was amazing!! There were 16 of us and it held us all very comfortably! The kitchen was huge and very well equipped with everything we needed (including small appliances) . The hot tub needs some attention but that was the only part of our 7 day stay that wasn’t amazing. Thank you Ben and family for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Birthday Celebration

Hold process went smoothly. Some family members complained about lack of TV in bedrooms. There was also leftover food in refrigerator. Overall great place and would recommend to others.

Elaine - thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to address the leftover food with the cleaning crew. As far as TV's, we we prefer to enjoy the views and sounds of the lake that the bedrooms offer while we are down there :) Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Family Lake Trip

We had an excellent family vacation (all 13 of us). The house was perfect. The dock was huge! Very little steps to get to the lake. The kitchen was big enough for us to make large family meals. Plenty of beds/bathrooms/showers. The living space was large and screened-in porches were heavily used. I would highly recommend it. We also caught plenty of fish!

Perfect, quiet get away to reconnect with family

Our stay was great!! The bedrooms were perfect with great views for my grown children with families. They used the walk-in closets for the infants and the extra bed for the toddlers. Not many steps to and from the lake! Lots of living areas to spread out in. Loved the extra refrigerator and all the extras in the complete kitchen!! We've never stayed at a place that provided so many towels! We brought our own, but you wouldn't need too. Truly felt like home instead of just a rental!

Clean and well maintained with room for a large group

Great house and dock for a large group. Both house and dock are well maintained and VERY clean. Not even con webs on the dock!!! Very good cove for floating and hanging out. Dock comes with one available slip but if you have 2 boats with your group there is room to tie one up on the side of the dock. House is close to the water and dock so no huge climb back and forth. I would stay here again.

Truly a "Jewel" at the lake!

Let me start by saying that I have stayed at my fair share of rentals in the past, and this BY FAR surpasses any of them! For starters, we arrived to the property about 15 minutes before check-in time, expecting to check out the dock and the lake while we waited for our 4pm check-in time; instead, we were greeted by Ben (one of the owners) who immediately started apologizing because they were there and just finishing cleaning. Now get this.....their regular cleaning person had a last minute Covid-related emergency and could not come clean the place for our arrival. Instead of the owners canceling on us and/or delaying our check-in (yes, this DOES happen), Ben and his wife flew in from out of town and his parents drove from Salt Lake City to get the place cleaned and prepared for us.....who does that!?!?! Not to mention the house and grounds were immaculate! I had the opportunity to meet all of them and they are the most lovely family! Next up - THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS RENTAL JUSTICE! Honestly, I'd say it is easily the nicest home on the cove (which, by the way, staying on a cove in LOA is the only way I'd go now that I've been there). Each room is light, airy, comfortable and nicely appointed. There were 3 families, with a total of 13 of us staying there and we had so much space. The kitchen is massive! At one point I think all 13 of us were in there eating, cooking and baking and we weren't right on top of each other! The dock is like a rental of its own! It is so large and spacious. We spent a ton of time just hanging out fishing, swimming (nice warm, deep water for diving off the dock), having some beverages and floating around. Over the course of the week I did not hear one child utter "I'm bored" once! That's unheard of! Communication with the owners (Ben) was phenomenal. At one point we were looking for a hose to use so I messaged Ben. He apologized profusely that we did not have access to one and had one shipped to us from Amazon within a couple of days. These guys know customer service! This was our first trip to LOA and we're already talking about going back; when we do, The Family Jewel will be where we'll be staying! I could go on and on about this place, but you really just need to experience it for yourself. This rental/family may be new to the VRBO scene, but they are doing everything right! Do yourself a favor and book your stay at The Family Jewel!!

Family & Friends getaway

Ben and his family are fantastic!! We got to the area a couple hours early and they were accommodating with getting us access to the home. The house is beautiful, it is extremely clean and well maintained, and there was plenty of space for our group of 13! The dock is spacious and allows for easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and other water activities! We would love to stay at this house again in the future, highly recommend!

Great Lake Property

This is a wonderful house, five comfortable bedrooms right on the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and dock as well, the hot tub will comfortably fit four adults. The house had a high chair and a few other things helpful with the younger members of our group. We loved it!

Large family group review

My family, my parents, and my brothers family stayed and we loved the house and location. Beautiful setting. Well stocked kitchen and house. The hot tub needs some maintenance but otherwise we have no complaints. You won’t regret your stay!

Our family Gathering

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay . We were able to play outside as well as go on scenic hikes at the nearby state park. The property was clean and quiet and well taken care of. It was large enough for our family to visit and live together for the ten days we were there;) Definitely would be a great summer vacation. Host was very prompt in responding to any need we had. Thankful for such a time and place.

Week at the lake

Ben, Luke and Mike were great to deal with! We arrived on Sunday afternoon to a very clean and inviting house. Our group included three families with mostly adult kids and three boats. The house worked out perfect for those who needed to work occasionally while others were relaxing. The dock area allowed us to store three boats, utilize the lake and enjoy waterfront seating in preparation to our outings on the water. This property was perfectly located for all of our needs during our stay. All communication with the owners was informational and detailed. We will defiantly be returning.

Amazing Lake of the Ozarks Getaway

This is one of the best getaways we've ever had and I cannot say enough about the property, the property manager, and the location. The house was so big and so amazing that people were wowed every time they showed up. Plenty of space for everyone, great neighbors (we had a few drinks together), and access to water that was clean and quiet. If you're going to the lake...book this place ASAP!

This property was amazing!! You can feel the love and peace that comes with this home. The back story is amazing and we were so glad to have that info. It’s plenty of space and plenty of activities in the area. Ben was a great host!! Can’t wait to book again.
