Beautiful condo with excellent and clean amenities. Beds were vey comfortable and large island counter in kitchen was convenient for quick meal/snack set up.

Wonderfully decorated , clean and with modern appliances , washer , dryer etc. Needs a new mattress in the master . Overall - we would definitely book this property again .

Great stay & amazing host

The host was fabulous with answering questions and responding. The unit was fantastic and clean, great "starter" amounts that oftentimes are missed with rentals. Would stay again at any unit managed by this team!

Great Stay!

Everything about the place was great. The views are beautiful and the pool is one of the best! Condo was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. All messages were quickly answered. Highly recommend.

Great host! Excellent property!

The Condo was perfect for our family, everything was clean, and amazing. The condo is clean, the location is amazing and the pool, game areas areas are great to entertain us. The communication with the host was great, Sylvia was always responding to my questions. My family and I will definitely come back.

Celebrating my niece's 4th birthday was a wonderful experience by staying at the well maintained, beautifully appointed property at the Sapphire.

Nice getaway

Nice view and easy access to the beach. Parking can be difficult. Most of the staff was nice but two were a bit rude and condescending.

Christmas on the beach!

Christmas on the beach in South Padre was awesome! This was our families first trip to SPI. Sylvia is awesome at what she does. She helped with any question we had. She responds quickly to messages and followed up with us to make sure everything was okay when we arrived. Check in was a breeze. The condo is clean, comfortable, and was a great place to enjoy Christmas together on the beach. Saphire is a great complex with Margaritaville next door to enjoy the swim up bar and restaurant. I love visiting Texas and we will definitely be back. Sylvia, a special thank you from The Olson family! You’re a true gem!

Not a Five Star

There was plaster all over the balcony, balcony furniture, patio and master bedroom window. The ice maker didn’t work and there were three lights out in the kitchen. The front desk wasn’t helpful when we asked about umbrellas. Too lazy to put them up. Very disappointed. Won’t return. One good point, the view was breathtaking (as long as you were in the patio) couldn’t see the view from inside because of all the plaster covering the patio doors and windows.

Terry, we were not aware that plaster had fallen on to the patio furniture, it must've fallen from another balcony. Why didn't you call us? Had you informed us we would have quickly sent someone to clean that up for you and the problem would've been solved. "Couldn't see the view from the inside because of all the plaster?" Really? Your statement about the concierge desk being too lazy to put up umbrellas is completely incorrect, umbrellas are placed on the beach every morning unless there is bad weather/windy conditions in the forecast. Finally, our listing does not state that we have a working ice maker, which is why we have ice trays for our guests.

The room was GREAT! Walked into the room and all you could see was the ocean - it was amazing! Everything was perfect and worked great! I loved the washer and dryer combo as we could throw our clothes in and dry them quickly so we did not have wet bathing suits and towels laying around. The beds were very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a wonderful bonus! The master walk-in shower was soooo big and roomy as well! The host was very thoughtful in providing boogie boards, beach towels, swim floats, etc - which was a great surprise! If I had anything to improve on it would be to provide coasters for our drinks. We put paper towels under ours because we did not want to hurt the furniture. Maybe it was made for that but we did not want to take a chance.Finally, communication with the host and their responses were quick and all our questions were answered! The staff at the Sapphire was friendly and helpful as well and they even provided carts to load and unload luggage on to take to your room! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This is a beautiful unit—just as shown in the pictures. The linens are nice and the kitchen has excellent dinnerware, glasses and serving pieces. This is probably the best kept and most attractive place I’ve stayed on VRBO. Also checkout requirements are minimal making it simple to get out on time. If South Padre is your vacation destination this is the place to stay

Amazing!

Everything about our stay was amazing! The property itself is gorgeous, the condo was perfect and the view....WOW! We had everything we needed to enjoy a great weekend at SPI. The wagon came in handy to haul our stuff down to the beach. Renting a chairs and an umbrella was the ticket! All you really need to bring are your clothes & food/drinks.....this condo has everything else. We can't wait to come back and sit on the balcony to watch the beautiful sunrise again!

Great stay

Was an absolute enjoyable vacation. Place is very clean and makes you feel at home. The view is outstanding. Plenty of beach toys, body boards, towels, chairs, and a cart. The owners make sure you have everything you need for your vacation. If you are looking for a family or couple retreat this is a great place. All the instructions are left for you, as well as recommendations. After Labor Day it is very peaceful and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sapphire. Our host was extremely easy to work with and sent all the info we needed. She also answered questions very quickly. We enjoyed the Sapphires amenities, location, and cleanliness. We plan to be back as soon as we can!

We could not have been more pleased with everything!

This place and facility was fantastic. After a booking error (my fault) the owner graciously accommodated our changes. Communication was continuous throughout this process and throughout our trip. The owner did everything possible to ensure our stay and experience was 5 star and they succeeded! Condo was clean, view exceptional! It has been 15 years since we had visited South Padre. Without a doubt we will be back again soon and often. Oh, and the Local restaurants were fantastic too.

Misrepresented

I feel disappointed and I was lied to. The owner should be required to notify you on the website before you make the reservation if THE POOL AND SPA ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! The balcony is very difficult to access because it takes two people to open the sliding door. The bathroom plumbing is loud and/or broken. The alternative pool was dirty and NOT equivalent. They offered a broken beach umbrella and old chairs and toys.

I do not understand why you gave us a 1 Star review and stated you were lied to. Details about the pool construction are clearly stated on our listings AND I notified you again, through our communication, just to be sure you were aware. I noticed you conveniently failed to mention that you requested a discount for the inconvenience of not having a pool (two weeks prior to your arrival) and I agreed immediately. I also offered to provide you with a FULL refund if you decided to cancel the reservation. Once YOU decided to continue with your reservation you stated “We’ll hope for the best with the pool!” In response to your other comments, I have opened the balcony door multiple times (by myself) but did have maintenance take a look at that just to make sure it isn’t a concern for anyone else. The “other” pool is not part of Sapphire but was offered as an option for anyone wanting pool access. The plumbing is in perfect condition. We appreciate you letting us know about the umbrella. If you had replied to our message asking what we could do to make your stay better, we would have quickly sent you a new umbrella or anything else you needed but… you never replied. We are very proud to be a Vrbo Premier Host and alway do our best to provide an exceptional experience for all of our guests.

Fantastic experience!

We stayed at this Sapphire property for the Christmas break. Sylvia was an exceptional host and her communication throughout our stay was phenomenal and prompt! The property was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We will be back again for our next break for sure!
