Parking would be challenging if you had anything bigger than a compact or small car, but it was totally fine for us.The TVs - if you're going to have 3 remotes for each TV please provide written instructions. We really wanted to watch the World Cup soccer and couldn't. We also never found local news, seriously "local" was Los Angeles?The ocean views are amazing!!! Sleeping with the sound of the waves was very peaceful and relaxing.Great location, you could walk to shopping if you wanted to, but otherwise it was a very short drive. Easy to access the highways to get to places on the island.I would definitely stay there again.

Location Location Location!

Mark's property is not only ON the ocean, but the location is perfect! Close to nightlight, restaurants, amenities, and road to the rest of the island! If given the chance, will stay here again! Mahalo Mark!

Awesome waterfront location

We've rented more than 25 VRBO properties in Kona in 21 years, and this is one of the hilight ones for sure. Morning coffee and evening wine on the two lanai, watching whales and a great sunset, it's a place we would rent again for sure!

You'll never find a place that's closer to the ocean

Located within easy walking distance from town (assuming you ever decide that you want to leave the lanai), Mark's place was the perfect choice for our family. We appreciated the amenities (including snorkeling gear), the renovated bathrooms and the nearly new appliances. We can't wait to return!

Lovely Oceanfront Condo

Very beautiful and comfortable. Conveniently located. Only complaint would be very tight parking.

On site parking is adequate for a small to midsize vehicle. There is additional free parking on the street, directly if front of the unit, that will accommodate any size vehicle.

This unit couldn't be more ideally situated - an easy 20min stroll into Kona, for dining and shopping opportunities. Easy access to main roads for North/South travel, and only a few minutes away from some decent beaches (Magic Sands, etc). The owner was very accommodating when we requested an early check-in, which we appreciated. Mahalo!!

Really, really lovely stay. Being so close to the ocean was awesome, and sleeping to the sound of the waves and ocean breezes was idyllic. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable. Mark was a very responsive host. The only drawbacks (and this isn’t so terrible), but the lanai furniture was uncomfortable, and a grill would’ve been nice. But we would definitely stay there again.

Great location and view!!

This property is close to a lot of the action, bars, restaurants, shopping. Also, what an awesome view! Good communication with owner. Just a tight fit for parking. We had a great time staying here on our tour of the big island!

Great place on the water

Great place to stay that's within walking distance of a beach where we seen a sea turtle. You can walk and find any kind of food or shops you can think of. The place had beach towels, and swimming gear that was a big help. Thanks again

Fantastic Location

Our family came to Kona for the first time and enjoyed every minute of it! This condo had the best location…close to everything. But the biggest selling point is the view! Beautiful! We sat out there every morning and evening!

Waterfront property

Nice place....not a personal fan of Asian furniture, do not find comfortable. The surf and traffic are loud, but tolerable. Overall, a good stay.

the waves crashing on the rocks below at times are loud, this is true but that's what makes this place so special. In fact, it's hard to hear any traffic. The Asian style décor is exactly that.

Perfect location

We loved this place. The ocean view was great. We spent a lot of time watching the waves crashing on the lava rocks. It was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and all the equipment needed for a day at the beach. The closest beach was a very easy walk. And the restaurants and tourist area was just a little farther.

Wonderful condo

We stayed at marks condo July it was excellent everything we hoped for!! The condo was very clean and beds were very comfortable! The best part was the view!! We saw fish right from the lanai! Very centrally located. If you are looking for a fantastic stay I would highly recommend this condo!!! Mark Thankyou!!!

Location, location, location

This ocean side unit is a bit old but has a renovated interior that is very functional. The view is incredible, ocean waves and breeze. Easy walk to town and restaurants. Fronting street can be busy but ocean noise usually cancels the street sound and most drivers will yield when you are exiting the property.

Beautiful spot

We spent two wonderful weeks at this property and truly did not want to go home.. The condo had everything from a fully stocked kitchen, to A/C through out the unit but most importantly a view like no other. The property manager was super easy to get a hold if need be, and made sure that everything was perfect the moment we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view!

Loved the view and location! Bed was comfortable and bathrooms are nice. My biggest issue was having to clean up ants (maybe termites as they left a mess on the counter) everyday even though we made sure to clean and put away food properly. Not something you want to deal with on vacation and needs to be addressed.

In my description of the property, I clearly state the are insects. This condo sits directly on the water on an Island. There are insects. I have the condo treated Quartey, both inside and out. Also, if you leave any food out, those tiny ants will find it. You should have read the property's description before booking this unit.
