Great host, great property. I didn’t realize it was a shared property until check in and VRBO did not send the check in or check out instructions… but other than that it’s a very cute place, clean, and nice hot tub.

Thanks so much for your kind words—we’re really glad you enjoyed the property, especially the hot tub! We do want to apologize for the confusion around the shared aspect of the property. That detail is noted in the listing, but we understand it can be easy to miss, and we’ll take a closer look at how we can make that more clear for future guests. We’re also sorry to hear that your check-in and check-out instructions didn’t come through via VRBO. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our guests, and we have looked into this on our end to ensure communication is consistent and reliable. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you still had a great stay overall. We’d love to host you again!

Communication was great, everything was clean and quiet. The owners were out of town during our stay, so there was no concern about keeping the noise level down.

Best Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is absolutely beautiful; the pictures don't do it justice. All three bedrooms are spacious, everything is updated, and it's so nice. The kitchen is small but well-stocked (a coffee pot with coffee, and even a crockpot!). Everything in Durango was within 10 minutes, yet the home was SUPER quiet. If you like sleeping in a dark cave, I would suggest bringing a sleep mask as this is a bright, beautiful home. The homeowners were an absolute delight, and have the best advice on how to experience the area. Look forward to returning to Durango and staying here again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear the home exceeded expectations and that its spacious rooms, updated features, and quiet setting made your stay so enjoyable. It’s great to know the kitchen had everything you needed and that the location made exploring Durango easy. We also appreciate your note about the natural light — and your kind words about the homeowners mean a lot. We’d be delighted to welcome you back on your next visit to Durango! :) -Erika

Beautiful property & top floor apartment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was very enjoyable. The apartment was very clean. The owners, who live on site, were very kind & welcoming. It wasn’t clear, when we booked, that the owners lived on site. It wasn’t a problem, we just didn’t read the description carefully. The grounds are picturesque including hot tub, grassy area & an adorable playhouse that our grandchildren loved!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay and found the apartment very clean. It’s wonderful to know the owners made you feel welcome and that you were able to enjoy the picturesque grounds, hot tub, and outdoor spaces—especially that the playhouse was such a hit with your grandchildren! We also appreciate your note regarding the on-site owners not being fully clear at booking. That’s helpful feedback, and we’ll be sure to review the listing description to ensure it is as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin feel home! We were gone most of the day, but when we came back to this warm and cozy and beautifully updated cabin, it made our stay that much better. After a long day it was nice to relax in the hot tub under the stars. We brought our boys (3yrs and 5yrs old) for the Polar Express. And they loved hearing the train whistle while sitting in the hot tub. Would stay here again!

Lovely home in a beautiful setting. Very clean and with plenty of supplies to get us started. The kids loved the playhouse in the backyard. It took us a while to get used to using the fan/open windows because of no air conditioning but were very comfortable for the most part. We would stay there again.
