Vista Cay Stay

The condo is very old and not updated. The smell of air freshener upon entering the door was overwhelming. My daughter has allergies and this was really strong and offensive. There are many water stains on the ceiling. There were ants in the bathrooms and everything had an old dirty appearance. The couch and ottoman in the living room smelled awful and also had ants crawling on it. The refrigerator had condensation on the outside and leaked when getting water. The outlets in the bathrooms did not work but was fixed by the handy man on day 2. Not sure if it was ants but something bit me a few times in the master bed. I used my own sheets and towels. There were damp towels folded on the beds when we arrived. Location was great and the host was responsive the outlets but just placed any traps on the floor. Not a great experience for having to be there 8 days.

Spacious and convenient location, but not the cleanest

Tiny bugs crawling on the kitchen counters. Saw one cockroach the last night, which I know it's Florida, so not uncommon. Read the property details closely. If you run out of toilet paper, (which we did during our 6 day stay) they will not supply any more. They consider it a "starter pack." They expect you to buy your own at a nearby store. One spare roll would have been all we needed. Because otherwise, the renter has to go buy a 4 pack....and use one roll and probably leave it behind for the next renter rather than travel home with it. A small stash of laundry pods would have come in handy too. Would have loved basic salt and pepper or olive oil spray in kitchen. I left salt and pepper packets behind from a restaurant. Hopefully the next person can use them. Pool key card didn't work to get into the pool area. But just ended up going through the rental building and cutting through to the pool that way instead. Carpets are gross and stained as well as couch. It worked out ok for our stay with convenience to the Hilton for an event. Cheaper to stay here than at the Hilton for our event....and certainly more spacious than a hotel room would have been. Publix and Walgreens within 1 mile away as well as many restaurants. But don't know I'd make a point to come back here specifically. The minor extras I mentioned above (laundry pods, toilet paper, salt and pepper, olive oil spray) are all things that have been supplied in fabulous VRBO's I've stayed in in the past.

Volleyball Tournament Stay

Our family was very happy with the Orlando stay. Check In instructions were clear and hassle free. We had open communication options to reach someone, if needed. Only recommendation would be instructions for how to operate the TVs in the bedrooms. An enjoyable stay that we would be happy to repeat in the future!

Not amazing

Not all information was provided for check-in , no code was give for the key box and the door code to the unit did not work. The unit was not very clean--crumbs, animal hair on the carpet and floor., etc. Also, there was a very old leak/hole with mold in the ceiling in the master shower. Alerted management and someone came and spray painted over the hole and did not actually repair anything. Finally, very stingy with soap, etc. one dishwasher tab is not enough for a long stay. Would not stay in this unit again.

The check in was easy, the place was comfortable and clean and any issues were addressed and resolved with speed and courtesy. We would definitely stay again
