Well, this is a head scratcher. We checked with the owner and he was most definitely not adjusting the thermostat. The only thing we can think of is that a previous guest somehow set schedules and, as a result, the thermostat was fluctuating. We sure do wish you had reached out! We would have been happy to help. Tricia, We appreciate your feedback. We have many beachfront units to select from if you plan to visit the area again! The "leave only footprints regulation" in Morgantown is mainly to protect the Sea Turtles during nesting season. We were not aware of any temp regulation on the thermostat overnight. Some of our units do have nest thermostats. The owners can set parameters mainly so the AC units operate at their maximum efficiency. The kitchen faucet has been since repaired.
