The Iron Gate Chalet was beautiful and perfect for our family of 5, there were plenty of games for the kids and they also had fun playing outside in the yard. The house was stocked nicely with coffee, tea, etc. The house was in an ideal location to go on adventures in both the Jefferson area and Stowe. We hope to book again in the future.

The Hosts were amazing. Clear directions to property, entering the home and expectations.?All the rooms were very clean and cozy. The main reason we booked as they were pet friendly. They even had a dog bed and toys there!!We enjoyed the fire pit both night we were there for amazing quality family times telling stories. Hearing about on family member’s recent trip to Europe. The perfect place for us to get ready for a wedding. We all loved our time spent in your chalet.

We can’t express how perfect this place fit our needs on a trip for some peaceful quality time with our two dogs. We loved that there were so many windows to be surrounded by the outside greenery in each room. And it really is dog friendly - the detachable gate on the deck allowed us to hang outside with our pups without having to worry about them running off, and they loved snuggling on the dog bed and using the water bowl and toys. The house is well equipped with modern comforts like smart tvs and plenty of kitchen needs but still felt remote as we enjoyed our quiet yard and nearby trails. Haleigh and Anthony were very friendly hosts and quick to respond with assistance or kind words. Would love to return!

Look no further this is the best place to stay near Smugglers notch! Beautiful location, Great woods to romp around then when you’re not skiing. The hosts are incredibly responsive and super helpful and flexible! The house is so cozy and warm and beautifully decorated!!

Fantastic ski getaway!! The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The dogs loved the outside yard. The owners were very flexible and helpful.The house was close to Smugs and a few nice restaurants. I only wish we had brought more food as the market was very small!

Top notch in every way! Very clean, a large property that's quiet and extremely private yet close to Burlington. Well stocked and spacious house with plenty to do right there. I stayed while working in the area and was extremely pleased. Relaxed around the fire pit after a hard day! There's a giant owl of some kind that we watched through the trees that was interesting. It must have been almost 2' tall. Excellent place to get away!

Perfect winter getaway

We loved this cabin and it was just perfect for our family of 5. So close to skiing but tucked away in a great little corner. Everything was so easy and relaxed. Definitely recommend for a quiet vacation.

An excellent dog friendly vacation spot!

The stay was exactly as described. Great location on the mountain near lots to do. The dog loved the room to run around outside. The interior has great cozy ski house vibes which was perfect for our winter get away. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to return again in the future.
