Morse Mill Condominium è situato su tre ettari direttamente di fronte all'ingresso principale di Smugglers 'Notch Resort e Ski Area, che offre alcuni dei migliori e più impegnativo sci in Oriente. Noi non siamo parte del complesso Notch Resort dei contrabbandieri. Siamo il più vicino condominio di proprietà privata al Resort - solo attraverso la strada. Il nostro condominio è privato ma vicino all'azione sci con due ponti che si affacciano su tre montagne che compongono il complesso sciistico.
Lo sci di fondo è possibile dal porta del condominio e le piste da sci sono a meno di un minuto a piedi a due. Ci sono grandi piste per slittino per bambini sulla proprietà - slitte fornite! Abbiamo un ruscello impetuoso che attraversa la proprietà e un laghetto privato che i bambini amano giocare in. Ci sono molti buchi d'acqua nella zona per rinfrescarsi in un giorno d'estate calda. Pass giornaliero per le piscine e acquascivoli alla montagna possono essere acquistati presso Smugglers 'Notch Resort durante i mesi estivi. Zip Line Canopy Tours sono disponibili tutto l'anno presso il Resort e sono disponibili per non-ospiti. Questa è la prima linea Zip in Vermont.

Il condominio è di circa 1100 sq. Piedi. Ha un soggiorno aperto / sala da pranzo e cucina completamente attrezzata. La camera da letto principale ha letti gemelli con bagno privato; seconda camera da letto un letto matrimoniale; terza camera da letto matrimoniale. Un letto ribaltabile è disponibile per una persona in più. Vi è un secondo bagno con wc e doccia.

Il condominio è con gusto e arredate in modo confortevole con una Vermont Castings camino a legna (legna fornita). Forniamo mangime per uccelli per fare scorta dei tre alimentatori sul ponte, che attirano una grande varietà di uccelli selvatici. C'è un ruscello di montagna impetuoso che attraversa la proprietà e un laghetto che attira le anatre selvatiche e altri uccelli acquatici. In estate, siamo a cinque minuti di auto da Stowe, ma a 45 minuti di auto in inverno a causa del fatto che Smugglers 'Notch pass è chiusa al traffico.

Morse Mill was a great launching pad for our summer vacation in Northern Vermont, looking forward to returning at some point!

Perfect Location

Nicely sized apartment for a family of 4. The location was quiet and very close to Smuggler's Notch, Stowe, and all the hiking trails in between. Would definitely recommend!

We loved that we could bring our pup!

This property fit our family of 6 and our dog perfectly. It’s very close to SMUGGS so you feel as if you are a part of it all. Our kids were able to walk back and forth between SMUGGS and the condo easily. We will definitely stay here again.

Family ski vacation?

Great location and fun ski hill. No snow, so we spent a lot of time in the condo, therefore it great that there was enough room to play games and watch movies. So easy to get to the mountain!!! Thanks for a great few days. We’d definitely go again.

Holiday week at Smuggs

We loved staying at this property. Very cozy and comfortable. Right across the street from Smuggs Village. Lots of fun. Great place to stay, open floor plan with 3 bedrooms. The beds and comforters were very nice. Plus two full baths. House very well stocked. Highly recommend.

SuperBowl Weekenders, 2012

Seven adults from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida met at Morse Mill for SuperBowl weekend for some terrific skiing and snowboarding. Smuggs' three mountains were amazing, especially the natural snow in the glades on Madonna and Sterling. Morse Mill was just a few steps away from the main lodge of Morse Mountain, right across the street. We cooked for the whole long weekend with plenty of pots and dishes, while enjoying the woodstove with ready to go kindling and logs. The living space was large for our big group, plenty of room to watch the new tv for the football game. Bluejays and winter sparrows and chickadees visited the deck all day for our viewing, as we gazed at Madonna through the sliding glass doors.

Spacious, comfortable

This was a nice-sized condo with a good set up: comfy sectional couch, big TV with cable, amazing wood stove. It's outdated for sure and the huge master bedroom (with bath) has twin beds in it. So all the kids had huge beds and we were in these tiny twins. It was pretty funny. We had never been to Smuggs before so being located across the street from the mountain felt removed from the action but that is clear on the website. It is close enough and you can walk, but only to the little mountain not the big mountain which wasn't great for us. You can take the beginner lift over to Madonna/Sterling but it's crowded and takes forever . We ended up driving. But the condo is near the base with all of the shops and restaurants, so that's good. For the size of the space and the number of bedrooms it's a good deal for the money.

The Resort runs a free shuttle that stops at the end of our driveway every 10 minutes or so that takes skiers and their equipment the 3-5 minute drive up to Sterling/Madonna if you wish to start your ski day there. Great location with pros and cons

I've stayed in many VRBOs and rely heavily on reviews in choosing properties. My goal in writing a review is to be informative and honest so the renter can decide if the property is a good fit for their purpose. We were there during the busy fall season, during the week. Pros: Great location for hiking, scenic drives and restaurants that are not in the town of Stowe (traffic near Stowe got busier towards the end of the week and was backed up on Saturday when we left, so we appreciated being further out). Spacious unit with comfortable furniture. Quiet at night. Easy walk across the highway to Smugglers. Kitchen appeared well stocked, but we only ate breakfast there. Good streaming options on TV. Great WiFi. Owners easy to reach and responsive. Cons: This does not appear to be a typical rental unit. There are 3 units in the building. The one below is some sort of office and the one above had someone there who got up early every morning and left for the day (probably for work). This is a problem if you like to sleep in since you can hear heavy footsteps and creaking floorboards from 6:30-7:00 every morning, including Saturday. The building is older and could use some TLC. The unit is dated, but homey. The main issues we had were the cleanliness and condition of the kitchen/main bathroom. Although it was superficially clean, it needs a good deep clean, including appliances and drawers/cabinets in the kitchen and vacuuming of the sofas (dog fur). The cabinets in the kitchen are worn out, but function ok. The main bath does not have an electrical outlet and the heater did not work, but it was clean. To be fair, the owners have not been able to check on the unit since March 2020 when the Canadian-US land border was closed so they are relying on their housekeeper and renters to let them know about issues (which we did). Overall, I would rate this unit a 3.5 (VRBO does not allow this as a rating).

Wonderful location

The property was very nice. It was clean with all you would need to enjoy to stay in the area. It is not brand new nor did we expect it to be. The owner was nice and communicated in advance. The upstairs neighbor helped us find the condo which is located on the second floor. There is a office below.

Fabulous location

Great place to stay. Away from the crowds in Stowe but directly across the street from Smugglers Notch Ski Resort. Clean, well maintained, and quiet. The stream running through the property was a plus. There’s a hammock and swing to watch the water and chill. It was an easy drive over to Stowe (apparently that road is closed in the winter). I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

The property is well maintained, quiet, well equipped with all of the things you get in a hotel room plus more, and the host is always available to help. There is a small dam/pond to enjoy by yourselves as it is private (kinda). Most people are in the public heated pools across the street. Could not ask for better accommodations. Three bedrooms, two baths, a balcony, a deck, full kitchen,,,,,need I say more?

Family birthday getaway

Since my son and I have birthdays within 3 days of one another, we like to go somewhere special to enjoy them. We had found Cheryl's Ski chalet across from the resort. What a wonderful stay we had with abundant wildlife and the beautiful plants and trees. Very much enjoyed the deck with BBQ grill. The brook that runs through the property was also very picturesque. Would definitely recommend for familys.

Great Long Weekend!

The location to Smuggs is fantastic. The property provided all necessary and promised amenities. Plenty of room for our family of four. Would definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit.

Nice home away from home!

We were impressed by the great communication from the owners. They gave us some nice tips about getting discounted ski tickets, activities and where to get groceries, etc.. The condo is right across from the mountain, so it was easy to find. We have small children so we still had to drive there each morning with all of our gear. However, we got there early enough to get a parking spot. It was nice having activities and options available for one child who didn't "love" skiing. She did love tubing and the arcade games. The condo was spacious and had everything that we needed including laundry facilities. It was a very convenient location. The only thing that prevents me from making this 5 stars is that it was difficult getting our bags up to the 2nd floor. We knew this going in and it probably would not be as big a deal in the summer when we wouldn't need so many bulky clothes. That being said, we enjoyed our week here and would stay here again.

Great location, very clean, love the wood stove!

We were very, very happy with our stay here. You can't beat the location. Very clean, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the wood stove in the family room. 5 minutes after we walked in, the owner called to see if everything was going OK for us. We would stay here again, no question. Thank you Cheryl and Norman for allowing me and my friends to stay at your condo. I stayed at the Morse Mill condo from 1/14/10 - 1/17/10 with my husband and 4 friends (total of 6 adults). The condo is very spacious and fit all of us comfortably. The condo is clean and very welcoming. It has a great view of the mountain and a fire stove that kept everyone warm. The condo is in an excelent location - only a 5 minute walk from Smuggler's Notch resort. We snowboarded at Smuggler's Notch for two days. We were worried that the mountain would not have a lot of good trails but we were wrong. Smuggler's Notch is a great mountain for both beginner and advanced boarders/skiers. It is also not as expensive as other mountains like Stowe. We loved that we could walk and carry our boards to and from the mountain. We had an amazing trip. We hope to return next season!

Morse Mill is a perfect location for a vacation near Smuggs. It is reasonably priced, the owners are very attentive to your needs, and you feel secluded from the resort, but still close enough to be involved with its activities.

Our condo has a fantastic location - across the road from one of the best ski areas in the East. Our condo is situated on 3 acres of private property. Its location affords a peaceful, relaxing environment yet we are close (less than a 2 minute walk) to the action at Smugglers' Notch Resort for skiing, restaurants, waterslide in the summer, etc.
