Located in the heart of Sandwich Village, and just 5 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge, The Rose Cottage sits just behind Shawme Pond and is perched on a slight bank overlooking the Village Green—Wake up to the tranquility of the Cape, grab a coffee at Cafe Chew and stroll through the Village past the Grist Mill, Glass Museum, and Town Hall to the iconic Sandwich Boardwalk. No need to drive anywhere for dinner, with a half dozen restaurants less than a ten minute walk away. This cozy dwelling, provides the comfort of a 5-star hotel, lots of natural light, and privacy. The open floor-plan includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, living area and TV. Located in Sandwich, this cottage is in the city center and by the sea. Thomas Dexter's Grist Mill and Historic Sandwich Village are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Sandwich Mini Golf and Cape Cod Massage Therapy. Cape Codder Water Park and The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums & Gardens are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.

Magical Cape Cod Experience

The most charming cottage in an absolutely idyllic Cape Cod setting!! All modern amenities were included in a brand new, well appointed cottage. The location was so convenient--just a short walk to restaurants and shops!!! Such a great place for sight seeing!! We could not stop taking pictures!! There were several beautiful walks right outside the door of the cottage and a precious tea room just across the street!! We stopped there twice during our stay. Wild life can be spotted right outside the cottage windows. We saw swans, turkeys, cardinals, red winged blackbirds, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks and a turtle!! Mary was the perfect hostess! She lives on property and was very attentive to all of our needs--even buying an iron and ironing board for us to unwrinkle our summer linen clothing!!! If you go to the village of Sandwich THIS is the place to stay!!

Charming and Comfortable

This was our first trip to Cape Cod and we went with two young children. We were very impressed with the cottage- everything was brand new and the decor was perfect for a beach theme. The house is situated in a great location walking distance to town and attractions. Sandwich is a charming community with some of the friendliest people we have ever met- including Mary the property manager who checked in with us to make sure we were well-equipped during our stay. We had many different food options, gift shops, beaches, grocery, and nature trails within a 5 minute drive making it really easy to get around. We ventured out within a 30 minute-radius to explore other towns and beaches as well, making it a great location to explore the west and central cape, especially as a first-time visitor.
