Friends Summer Vacation

We have a tight group of school friends and all our kids are the same age. This home was the perfect base camp for our group to hang out at with a spacious and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

Great get away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay very roomy great location. Had everything we needed. Checkin wasn’t til 4 but property got it cleaned and inspected promptly so we were able to check in early

Perfect getaway for small group

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s the perfect little getaway house for a small group/family to be close to beach access. The house was in great shape. Some fans didn’t work and that made the down stairs little hot. But that’s really it for negative. Though it was public pool, felt private during the day.

Spring Break Stay

House was amazingly beautiful. We had enough room for everyone to stay. The kids loved the kids room and we had two masters which was great. The only thing that was a downer was the backyard. We wanted to sit outside and hang out after everyone came back from the pool but it was overgrown and unpleasant. Overall it was an amazing place, I would definitely recommend and I would definitely go back.

We are at the mercy of a third party lawn company to keep the lawn cut and it is sometimes hard to get them to service in between their regularly scheduled service. We do hope you come back and get to enjoy the outside. Please call us directly to book your next stay!

Amazing vacation

The kitchen was large and well equipped, making it easy for us to prepare most meals there. We knew it would be a challenge for July 4th to try and eat out with 10 people. There was plenty of room for everyone.

When we got there, everything seemed fine but once you kicked off your shoes, you felt how dirty the floor was. All of us had black feet from walking around without shoes on. If you walked to the bathroom then tried to get back in bed, you had to brush off your feet so you would t feel the grittiness in the bed. Speaking of the bathroom, the floor was also very gritty so even if you tried to scrub your feet, they immediately got dirty again. There was also a roach crawling on the wall while I was using the restroom. I wish that was the only instance of bugs too. When we went to put dishes in the dishwasher on day 1, we found a bug crawling inside causing me to hand wash all our own personal stuff. There was also a rollie polly crawling in the master bed. The couch slip covers felt super dirty from multiple guests using it over the years. If you have toddlers, the light switches will be utilized as they are super low on the walls throughout the unit. On the positive side, the grill was better than another unit’s that our friends stayed in and the hose attached on the outside of the house was an awesome touch to rinse off your stuff from the beach. We also really enjoyed the outdoor shower immediately after the beach to rinse off all the sand on our bodies. Would I stay here again? Maybe but the cleanliness of the home was a huge turn off.

Little Family Get Away

We just wish there was more parking for other family and friends we had visiting for the day. We left behind a very important item and they shipped it to us over night!!! We definitely will be booking again.

Great location, convenient and priced right!

The house is nice. The location is great. Ac worked great and the beds were comfy. Overall a great experience. However the patio was small and the furniture outside was not fit to use. Broken chairs and rusty charcoal grill. There is no TV in the upstairs master and we couldn’t find a remote to the living room TV. The shower in the upstairs had very low pressure. We had to share the hallway shower. Overall nice place. Just needs a few minor fixes. I text the numbers I had and no answer so we made the best of it.

Port A Escapes #15

House was clean, nice and very adequate for the 8 of us. Parking was advertised for 3 vehicles, but the parking for 2 of the vehicles between units 15 and 16 was very tight. We could not exit our small car through both driver and passenger doors. Do not drive a large vehicle! In addition to the parking, the patio furniture was not usable, but we spent so much time on the beach, that was not an issue. Outside shower to rinse off the salt was nice, but no where to hang wet towels / swimsuits.

Ladies' Trip to the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I had a great experience at My Taigh RP15! The house was exactly as described online. Upon arrival, the house was clean and stocked with the basic amenities to get us started. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well laid out. We enjoyed the large dining table for both eating and game night fun. The patio was nice and we loved the fact that we had a BBQ grill.The property was well-maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed having a semi-private pool. The folks at Port A Escapes were professional and helpful, sending us text updates in a timely manner. It took less than 5 minutes to get to the beach!I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative and hope to come back next summer!

Mejia Family Vacation 2022

We have not had the opportunity to gather like this in a long while and were looking for a place to accommodate a large group. I did the research and found this place and immediately loved it. We did not have any issues transferring the reservation from the original owner on AIRBNB to Port A Escapes. it was a nice transition which helped ease my mind. The customer service rep was nice and helpful. I believe her name was Sara B. She helped me and guided me through the process. We fell in love with the rental and the area it was in upon our arrival. My family really enjoyed the location and the house. it has enough room for everyone. We are looking forward to renting this same house again and have talked about enjoying the holidays here and a week out of the summer again. Thank you for the awesome experience.

The location is great for the price but we did have issues with roaches. We had a late check-in but contacted the host regarding the issue as soon as we could. We did not get a response until the next day when they sent pest control. The WiFi was also not working so they fixed that the next day. The house looked clean but decorative pillows on the bed were stained and the couches also need to be cleaned. The house was clean and well kept overall. Parking fit two large trucks and an SUV.

The house was perfect and centrally located.Beds were comfortable and the ac was cold which is an A in Texas. I wish there was a Tv in the upstairs master bedroom. That’s the only thing we missed.
