Heaven's Gate St. John è una villa di lusso con quattro camere da letto, con vista su St. L'incantevole Hurricane Hole di John, designato Monumento alla barriera corallina delle Isole Vergini nel 2001.

Heaven’s Gate è circondato dalle terre del parco nazionale delle Isole Vergini, con ampie vedute a 180 gradi sull'uragano Hole e sull'oceano aperto punteggiato da piccole isole e calette, tra cui Leduck Island, Peter Island e Tortola. Questo rifugio in cima alla montagna offre pace e privacy complete ed è vicino allo snorkeling di classe mondiale nella baia di Haulover, proprio sotto. È anche vicino al Brown Bay Trail, uno di St. Le migliori destinazioni escursionistiche di John. Questo sentiero si collega al Johnny Horn Trail, che porta alle rovine della piantagione di zucchero di Annaberg.

Ognuna delle quattro suite arredate in modo accogliente comprende il proprio bagno privato, tre con doccia esterna e ogni suite ha accesso a terrazze esterne.

La villa comprende una piscina scintillante con posti a sedere integrati, cucina gourmet, una grande sala arredata in modo confortevole e terrazze coperte di livello superiore e inferiore che incorniciano viste mozzafiato. Ed è tutto circondato da splendidi giardini e un ampio paesaggio tropicale.

Sometimes the photographs are much nicer than the in person view. This was one of the few times the in person view was better than the online photographs. Beautiful property, immaculately maintained, everything you need for the perfect vacation!

The pool with the ocean view is spectacular. We spent a great deal of time there. Given the size of the house and the number of guests it accommodates, they could use more than 4 lounge chairs.

A great house! The views from Heaven's Gate are especially spectacular and visible throughout the house. we enjoyed waking up to a gorgeous sunrise every morning and breakfasting on one of the decks. Loved the pool and the outdoor showers. The landscaping is also beautiful. From the moment you drive through the gate, you are met with colorful flowers and shrubs.Josephine was a great host-- she is responsible for the flowers and grows much of the greens and produce you see in coral bay. It was a treat to find her delicious greens in the fridge when we arrived and plantains and mangoes too. Thanks for a great stay!

Heavens Gate is a very special property ! The views just wow - it is a great space to gather with family and friends. Very comfortable accomodations and loved the outdoor spaces and the views. We have traveled to many countries and beautiful locations and this is very possibly the most beautiful view we’ve ever seen. We came here for spring break with our teens and it was their favorite trip yet. We all enjoyed the views, the outdoor showers, the beautiful house and landscaping. The host even left us fresh greens from her farm. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. We felt like we were secluded, yet were so close to restaurants and where to catch the boat we chartered for a day. We have zero complaints and hope to one day stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, the views are incredible (even better than photos), very spacious, the pool was fantastic and we sat on the outside covered porch for breakfasts and in the evenings to enjoy the view and breeze.The kitchen was fairly well equipped and the hosts left us some beverages in the refrigerator to start our stay, which was a nice touch.The benefit is that the area is very quiet. The downside is that it is the 30 minute drive to get to dock and restaurants in Cruz Bay and about 15-20 mins from most beaches. You’ll want an SUV as the roads and driveway to the house are very steep and windy. It’s only about 5 minutes to Coral Bay, so make sure to have a lunch at Lime Out while you’re on that side of the island. The house also has outdoor showers, which can be a very unique feature. The water pressure was really low, so the benefit was muted by that. Overall, we still highly recommend.

This house was great for our trip. It has amazing views of Coral Bay and is within 20 minutes of several beaches. The house is definitely on the quiet side of the island but that's what we wanted and we found there was plenty to do. The wild donkeys even came out to the house one day. The house is properly stocked, AC worked in all bedrooms, living room was comfortable, and outdoor patio and pool were spacious and enjoyable. Really, the only comment I have was there was no communication from the owner. I reached out twice but never heard back. If you do rent this place do use the address called out by the owner. Otherwise, Google maps takes you to the wrong place. Also, the property description doesn't say anything about a gate. This threw us off because we were not provided a gate code and the gate was tied shut. There is no gate code. Just untie the rope from the gate and head up. This was a great trip and do recommend this house.

Heaven's Gate

We've just returned from a week long stay at the aptly named villa "Heaven's Gate". The home and views were jaw dropping! The attention to detail and owners interest in making our holiday enjoyable were evident and greatly appreciated! Not only is the home beautiful but the landscaping is stunning! Gorgeous palm trees, bougainvillaea and orchids adorn the property! The home is blessed with trade winds making air conditioning unnecessary and reducing the possibility of problems with insects. We found everything to be very clean and in great condition (no wear and tear!). Heaven's gate has a well appointed kitchen and is well stocked with ample beach chairs, towels etc. While at the home, we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the many beautiful and large veranda's. Josephine was a pleasure to work with and was kind and patient as I had many questions! Hugo was a wonderful host who was also so very kind and helpful! Thank you for the wonderful greens and coconuts! Such a treat! Heartfelt thanks for allowing us to enjoy your magnificent home! We hope to return to the islands soon and will be in touch!

This villa is a treasure!!!

If you have the opportunity to book this villa, DO IT!!! The photos are completely accurate. It's just beautiful! We have rented many villas on St. John and this villa is by far the most beautiful and the most comfortable! Hugo was a pleasure to work with and his mom even gave us a bag of her delicious greens and veggies! Thank you so very much! Our family of 8 had more than enough room and the views were absolutely spectacular! We are definitely hoping to return at some point!

The perfect home base while exploring St. John

We had a wonderful time. We took day hikes and swims and then returned to this amazing villa with stunning views for the pool, the kitchen, the views, and the stars (we had cloudless, moonless skies). We even got to visit the owner’s farm! Excellent all around.

We love staying at Heaven's Gate! The property is in a wonderful location at the quiet end of the island. Everything is top rate and there is everything you need to enjoy your stay. Hugo is wonderful to work with and very prompt to answer any questions. We love Heavens Gate!

Celebrating a decade!

Heaven's Gate was a PERFECT location for four couples all celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversaries! Not only is Saint John beautiful, but Coral Bay and specifically the East Side of the island provided the perfect atmosphere for our trip. We rented two jeeps in Cruz Bay and enjoyed adventures all over the island. Beach days at Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay & Hanson Bay were awesome, as well as the Lime-Out Floating Taco Bar! We chartered a catamaran for a half-day through Big Blue Excursions and captain Sophie took us to two spots only accessible by boat - it was awesome! In Coral Bay, we enjoyed Skinny Leggs (for several amazing burgers) as well as Aquabistro. The Danforth was ok, but not our favorite spot. In Cruz Bay, you can't beat ocean-side breakfast at High Tides, the huevos rancheros were excellent! Last but not least, Hugo was an excellent host! We enjoyed greens and produce from their family farm and he was helpful and quick to respond if/when we needed something. We' re already dreaming about a return trip to the island and hopefully to Heaven's Gate. What a beautiful place! THANK YOU!

Truly Amazing - Exceeded Expectations

We were truly blown away by what a fantastic property this is. If anything, the pictures may not quite do this place enough justice. It exceeded our expectations. The views are breathtaking. Every morning we watched the sunrise from one of the many balconies; every evening we sat outside and enjoyed the view as well. The house is gorgeous and well-appointed, the landscaping beautiful, and the pool is perfectly situated with the same great view shared by the balconies. The host was very friendly and helpful with providing recommendations on where to go, restaurants, etc. We could go on an on. . . . The only real "downside" of staying here – and it may not be a downside depending on your point of view – is that it is about a 30 minute drive to the main town, although it seems longer given the nature of the roads. So stock up with groceries if you plan on eating at the house as there isn’t a supermarket nearby. Bottom line, this is a wonderful property and we would definitely stay here again.

Incredible Views

Our first visit to Heavens Gate and it’s an awesome property. House is fully stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, coolers. Kitchen has all you need if you chose to cook in. We enjoyed the pool after a day exploring the island. Highly recommend this home. Hope to be back again next year. Thanks Hugo

Stunning

Gorgeous, generous house with a postcard view. Great wifi, cooling breezes, outdoor showers, beach extras to borrow, and a short drive to great beach foodie destinations like Hansen Beach (swim out floating taco bar) and Maho Beach (beachside food truck). Check in and out was easy too!

Great place and owners

The work done to this villa shows great care in every detail. Well laid out and everything you could ask for with a constant breeze. Close to coral bay shopping and restaurants. Hugo came to my rescue in the middle of the night with no worries. He is a warm and good hearted person which I am sure all the family are the same. Can’t say enough about how grateful we are for his help and kindness. We have stayed at several island villas on St. John and this is the best. They all have personality, this villa touches on everything.

Perfect Trip

This villa is beyond gorgeous - the name fits it perfectly! The views and landscaping are spectacular from sunrise to sunset. Hugo welcomed us with open arms, and we met Mayumi and Josephine later - such a sweet, warm and kind family. The villa is very spacious and has EVERYTHING you need...including outdoor showers which are amazing and comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. The pool was large enough to swim laps in and there is always a very nice breeze. One of the highlights of our trip was the villa outdoor cat JoJo - we have missed him so much! We hope to be back again one day!!

We so much enjoyed Heaven's Gate...incredible views and Mayumi, Hugo, and Mrs Josephine were so nice...we felt like part of the family as we arrived. We can't wait to return!

I was born here in the Virgin Islands and raised on an organic farm on St. John that my parents started together. Growing up here was nothing but unique! I went to Antilles High School on St. Thomas, so yes, a ferry boat was my school bus every day. After graduation I moved to the states where I spent a lot of time in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and South Dakota doing wilderness expeditions. I then got my bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston in Political Science, and captained the school's rugby club. The property you are looking at was actually designed and built by my parents. A family project that my sister and I helped with while we grew up. So I hope you can appreciate our labor of love if you choose to book this property! All rental income goes towards rebuilding our farm which was completely destroyed during hurricane Irma, so we thank you for considering being an important part of revitalizing the only source of locally grown organic produce on the island.
