We had such a great experience staying here. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very well kept. What truly stood out though was the host — incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, which we really appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and their experience. Highly recommend staying here — we would definitely book again!

Wonderful Beach Getaway

Spent a long weekend at the beach. Great location with short walks to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Hosts are great and really ensure you have everything you need. We highly recommend.

Perfect beach cottage!!

Our Family has vacationed in Laguna for years. This was our first time staying here in this cottage and we can’t wait to come back! The host was wonderful and the home was just perfect for our needs. Clean & spacious Plus we loved that we could walk right across the street to the grocery store.

Perfect for our family vacation

Mo was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed. He was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our family vacation since we were so close to the beach it made it easy to go back and forth for nappping kids. We definitely recommend staying here!

Laguna Getaway

Cleo in the village is a great stay for larger parties or those wanting more room. Our girls trip party enjoyed the common spaces, kitchen and amenities. You can’t beat the location either! Mo and Vanessa were excellent hosts, very attentive. Thanks for having us!

LagunAmazing!

Check-in was easy, the property was lovely, and the location was perfection! You will not need to use your car at all! Super quick walk to the charming downtown, beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants! So many beach supplies and amenities at the property that save you from having to pack & bring with you! We had a blast and will be back for sure!

If you ever get the opportunity to rent your vacation rental to Pamela Schaafsma and her family DO SO and DO NOT PASS IT Up !! The most perfect guest any host can ask for !! Beach getaway with friends

We had a lovely time at Cleo St. we enjoyed being without a car, walking 20min to town, a couple blocks to the beach, or taking the trolley. The host, Mo, was absolutely hospitable and pleasant. Beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, and toiletries were provided and appreciated. The house was great for a couple small families with kids. We took advantage of having grocery, a great breakfast spot, and taco spot a block away. we hope to return!

Perfect location and luxury home

This home gave us one of our all-time most wonderful vacations. The home was beautiful and spacious with lots of perfect little sitting spaces where our family could relax together. It was practically on the beach and next-door to a grocery store and walking distance from tons of cute shops and cafés. We were able to relax and enjoy each other. The hosts left everything beautiful and inviting. They were accommodating and gracious. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Excellent location and accommodations

Our group of 9, family and friends, had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Location, location, location! We parked our cars in provided parking spots and walked to all dinners and shops. The home is spacious-met all our needs and then some. Mo and Vanessa are by far super hosts with the most! Anything you might need to enjoy the beach or cooking in the kitchen is provided. As described, the beach is only a block away. We highly recommend this home!

Mo and Vanessa are the consummate hosts. Every need was anticipated. Communication was incredible; I’ve never had this level of clarity and proactive messaging from a host. The house accommodated 10 adults, not just for sleeping but for quiet time, together time, cooking and just hanging out. Bathrooms were incredibly well stocked, as was the kitchen. A grocery store is right across the street, so after a peek at the ocean and a deep breath of fresh salty air, take a quick walk over there, to the beach or to downtown Laguna. We will be back at this lovely home.

Mother/Daughter Birthday Weekend

To celebrate my sister's 65th birthday, the two of us and our three daughters (30ish) came to Laguna (from Chicago, Madison and Atlanta) for the weekend. i selected the Cleo based primarily upon the number of rooms/beds and location. it far exceeded my expectations. The space is lovely and the location is perfect. Mo is a gracious host and went above and beyond in welcoming us, including birthday balloons!

Truly a Gem!

We could not have found a better place to stay with friends and family! The home is beautiful, clean, very spacious and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need when traveling. We were a group of 8 and had so much room and privacy. Our host MO and Vanessa are incredibly sweet and generous. They went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. Directly across the street from grocery store! Love that! Also just a block away from Beach and so many amazing restaurants and shops. We cannot wait to go back.

Cleo in the village

Nothing but LOVE for Mo & Vanessa! Our family vacation was incredible!! The prime location of their beach house was simply perfect - we walked to the beach, stores, and restaurants, & enjoyed our evening strolls along PCH. Our family members, ranging from young kids to 85 year olds, were very comfortable in this spacious & clean house. We are very grateful for Vanessa and Mo’s generosity and impeccable hospitality & we can’t wait to be back. We highly recommend “Cleo in the Village” beach house. It is truly a Gem!

Great birthday weekend in Laguna

For my 80th birthday, I rented this amazing large house on Cleo St. in Laguna Beach for myself and 7 friends. Mo was an amazing host, offering early check-in and late check-out. He was extremely kind and helpful at all stages of the process. The location is amazing -- in downtown Laguna, across from Ralph's grocery store and 2 blocks from the beach. The house is big enough that each of the 8 of us got our own bed. There were 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, multiple outdoor spaces and a large well-stocked kitchen. There were 3 bathrooms, though only 2 had showers. It was a magical time and I will stay here again with my large family.
