While we acknowledge that some legitimate maintenance concerns arose during this stay, this review contains significant exaggerations and omits important details. The refrigerator was functioning properly before, during, and after this reservation. Loading it with room-temperature food and beverages requires time to cool. The accusation that we intentionally shut off power to save money is entirely false. Several pool room lights were affected by electrical damage from a recent storm. Repairs required invasive electrical work that could not reasonably be completed during an occupied stay. These repairs have since been completed. We also dispatched our pool service provider to address the water concerns. The rodent issue was first reported three days into the stay. We arranged professional pest control services. Unfortunately, pest treatments are not instantaneous, but the issue has since been resolved. Interestingly, despite describing the property as so unacceptable, these guests contacted us requesting to extend their stay. Our team made efforts to address their concerns throughout the reservation. After extensive communication, including eight calls involving Vrbo support, we ultimately refunded their remaining unused nights and requested that they depart. We take responsibility when issues arise and work diligently toward resolutions.
