You are located 9 mins from the entrance of Mesa Verde and its magical cliff dwellings and close to Canyon of the Ancients. Great skiing at both Telluride and Purgatory about an hour away. We really enjoyed our stay in this little bungalow. It’s decorated perfectly for the area and the backyard is great for relaxing and grilling. My toddler enjoyed finding the kids toys and the kid sized chair on the patio. Esther was very communicative and we enjoyed her suggestions about what to do in town for our 2-day stay.

Vacation with grandkids

We took our grandkids on a road trip in Colorado. The location to mesa verde was perfect. A lot of good restaurants nearby as well as grocery stores. Would recommend. Good indoor and outdoor space. Kitchen well stocked.

Easy access to Mesa Verde National Park.

We were very comfortable and had everything we needed during our short stay. The back yard was private and perfect for the dogs. It was also nice to have off street parking.

Comfortable and clean stay close to Mesa Verde National Park

This is a great place to stay if you're traveling to southwestern Colorado. The home was very clean and comfortable with a very nice backyard area. The house is on a very quiet street.

Wonderful place to stay!

This is such a gem! The back yard is great for dogs. The house is perfect as a home base for adventures. It is nicely decorated, clean and has everything you’d need. Really well cared for and a delight to spend time in. We’d definitely stay here again.

Everything was just as posted. Clean nice place to stay. We loved the backyard with the fire pit. We enjoyed late night conversations and morning coffee outside. Will stay again

Convenient stay

Nice clean property that was exactly as pictured. Convenient for us as our goal was Mesa Verde Park and to be close to food/groceries, etc. was great to have room for my teens to spread out a bit and loved that they allowed us to bring our pet - fenced in yard a plus.

Great Place to stay

This property was a great place to stay in Cortez. My hubby and I are already looking forward to going back. It was impeccably clean, and well appointed. We lacked for nothing. The location is close to everything in Cortez and we made trips to Hovenweep and 4 corners (1/2 a day) and to Delores. The check in process was great and easy and booking and extra night was easy too. Thanks we had a super time.

Lovely home!

Lovely home! Perfect for 6 or 7 people. The bunk beds worked well for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great fenced yard. Good location for access to Mesa Verde National Park, exploring the local area and easy drive to Delores, Telluride, Mancos, Durango, and Four corners. Wonderful hosts.

Lovely bungalow in Cortez

As described in listing, with beautifully designed interior and outdoor space. Host was proactive and responsive, everything we needed was easy to find and use. Checkout procedures were straightforward and well-communicated. We would happily stay here again when visiting Mesa Verde, Ute Mountain and Canyon of the Ancients!

Great stay in Cortez!

We’re a family of 3 adults and this super cute house was perfect for our needs! I loved the decor, the outdoor space was amazing and really expanded the house making an extra living space. Very close, short drive to the main street and every thing we needed. Our first time in Cortez, specifically for Mesa Verde National Park which is amazing, we did the Balcony House tour and it was absolutely worth climbing the tall scary ladders and crawling through the tiny tunnel, haha!

Charming home in Cortez

Very charming 3 Be/1bath. Beautifully decorated with well stocked kitchen items. We felt right at home and so close to Mesa Verde. Initially concerned about neighborhood noise, but our stay was very quiet. Home is at end of street, so not a lot of traffic. Fenced, private yard a plus.

Perfect stay for us!

Property was clean & well kept-we had everything we needed for 5 night stay late March. The living area is bright with windows & view of mountains from front of house. We enjoyed comfy furniture and large tv in living room-the plants in the house also make it more inviting. The fenced in yard worked well for our dog to run & play and the drive way was nice so we could park our vehicle off the street. Fairly quiet neighborhood was also good for dog walking. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you again for hosting us!

Business Stay

Had an office opening in Cortez, build out for office space not completed yet. Needed a place to work from for a week. The location was just what we needed and the space we needed. Very quite neighborhood and beautiful view of the mountains. Thank you Esther for your help and responses. Very enjoyable and peaceful.

Hi there,
We love to travel and spend time in the outdoors. Mountain biking, fly fishing and snowboarding are among some of our favorites. We both are native to Colorado, but have spent a few years living in some amazing places such as Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Hawaii. We are so happy to be living in beautiful SW Colorado and all it has to offer. We also have two dogs who love to go adventuring with us.

During your stay: We are available 24/7 via text and email for any questions you may have. We also live in the lovely, small town of Cortez, so we are physically available should you need us for something.
