Sugar Beach 362- Budget Friendly, Super Low Rates! Sugar Shack! 4 Pools!

** This home is listed for sale. Although we will try to schedule all showing between guests, a showing may incur during your stay.**

Sugar Beach 362 sits in one of the original and very popular complexes here in Orange Beach. There is so much to do here in the complex with 2 pools plus a kiddie pool sitting beach side, another pool located in the interior of the complex, a full-size tennis court and is beach front with private access. And don't forget about the famous Sugar Shack (pool side cantina) serving your favorite drinks and goodies!!

This two story, one bedroom home contains a King Size Bed on the top floor including a private full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Downstairs on the main level is a Sleeper Sofa in the Living area, another full-size bathroom with a stall shower, a stackable washer and dryer, plus a fully stocked kitchen! When it is time for Beach, Sun, and Fun, this home is wallet friendly and perfect for your small family!!

*Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at most local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent (seasonally). Just find an empty one or the attendant.

**All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

***CALL FOR WINTER MONTHLY RATES - All monthlies must be booked from the 1st to the 1st only. No partial or mid-month reservations will be accepted at the discounted monthly rate.

**There is construction of a new building next door to this complex. Please expect some noise during daytime hours associated with this. The rental rate has been discounted to reflect this**

**Admin Fee and Processing (credit card) fee are non-refundable after booking.

A Parking Passes is required and purchased upon arrival. the pass is $35 and limited to 1 pass, valid for your entire stay (up to 30 days). They are purchased at the gate entrance from the Security Guard.

Summer vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The facilities were nice for an older building. Can use some remodeling in the room. The only real complaint was the elevators. One was very slow and the other was broken.

Thought little things could be done to improve the place. Alittle paint, caulking. Bar stools too low for the counter so no place to eat except outside. Bottom of drapes extremely dirty or stained. Found silverware in dishwasher. Wouldn't recommend.

Everything was wonderful (except the pullout bed

We had a great time. The main bed was good but the pullout sofabed was terrible and need a new matress. Otherwise, we would come back and stay again.

The property was great the only thing it didn't have was a hot tub which would have been great. The condo we were in had the best hot water of any place we have ever stayed the only thing it needs is a 2 slice toaster and a frying pan. But it was a great condo and we would stay here again.

Good location

Overall the stay was fine , just a few things that were an inconvenience … there was no iron as advertised and the upstairs tv didn’t work . I did contact management and they said they could get me an iron but the tv issue never got resolved . The downstairs couch had some stains on the cushions but other than that it was clean just outdated .

Very cute condo

This location was perfect for a small family. We encountered a small problem and communicated to the rental agency and it was fixed within an hour! Great customer service. We were the first guest to rent this property, there were a few things that weren’t working (or we might not have been able to figure them out) I think this is just the growing pains of starting a new rental up. One major plus was the size of the washing machine- with kids it’s always nice to be able to wash their towels and clothes while there, other condos have had very small inefficient machines and this one was great! I would highly recommend this for a small family or a couple. The beach was perfect and literally within a one minute walk to the back of the property.

Older unit in need of updates.

We arrived at the rental after a long drive, paid $35 for parking, and discovered there was only one elevator for the whole complex that is not air conditioned. We waited in line for at least 15 minutes to go up to our floor. At one point during our stay, we were coming back from the pool waiting on the elevator and we heard a loud boom. When the elevator door opened, one of the light covers was laying in the floor, cracked, and you could see up into the ceiling of the elevator. Later we saw that the light fixture had been removed and the ceiling was left open the rest of our stay. Parking is in an over crowded parking deck and the spaces are very cramped. The place itself was obviously built a good while ago and no updates have been made. The dresser drawers, towel bars, closet rods, light fixtures, nightstands were all dirty/old. A lot of the fixtures in the room that were metal were rusted. One of the remotes didn’t have a back to it. There were only three towels for the entire place, one of which was covered in someone’s hair. The bed, pillows and pull out couch were clean thank goodness. I didn’t even bother calling to complain because after looking around the complex it is very obvious that no one is caring for this place and it was too late to find anywhere else. Ultimately, we stuck it out and enjoyed the pools and easy access to the beach.
