We take great care and pride in our property, and we go above and beyond to make our guests’ stay great, from the décor, cleanliness, and comfort of the home, to providing an early check in and late check out if available, all of which we did for your stay. Thank you for acknowledging the clean home, responsiveness, kindness, amenities, and early check in/late checkout. Unfortunately, we did have to process the damages accordingly. Besides the large red stains on the comforter, there was also red stains on a throw blanket, a large red stain on the area rug, and extreme damage of melted ice cream and sprinkles embedded into vintage placemats. All those items had to be either replaced or cleaned accordingly. Our cleaning company also had to charge us an extra ‘excessive damage’ cleaning fee. And, due to letting you have a last-minute late checkout, yet our cleaner had to be at the property for at least double the allotted time and effort due to the excessive cleaning, we had to block that night from allowing another guest to stay. There were also additional guests staying at the property that were not allotted for or disclosed in your booking. We do provide a fully functioning washer and dryer and detergent for any excessive accidents or stains that may happen during a guest’s stay, as well as a vacuum, broom, and mop for any accidental and excessive messes. All of the above damages and extra costs were approved by the booking platform for these reasons. Thank you so much for your time and review, -The Bamboo Cottage
