Beautiful—sunsets on The Sound reset my nervous system. Truly a relaxing respite. The only thing that could have possibly made our stay any better would have been a pulley system to get our things up and down haha

There's nothing quite like that peaceful Hatteras Island setting! And we loved your idea about a pulley system; definitely noted with a smile! Amazing view. Pool was a bit chilly but we figured it would be since it was end of sept.

Nice house on the sound. House has 5 toilets, they gave us 4 rolls of TP and 2 small hand soaps, probably the standard they give for all their rentals!!!. Asked for more and they said no, for 10 of essentials we would have been happier to pay the 4600 (it just the point of it all). We were there for a week, so make sure you know you have to buy almost everything you need that is USUALLY included (dollar general down the road). The bathroom in the main room stunk all the time (long term water damage it smelled like to me). TV in the man room had ZERO hook ups, so 100% useless. House is very close to DQ and not far to ocean side. AC worked well. Lots of stairs here no matter what bed you take, poor for seniors. Other than the management company, this house is A. I would rate it a B- though.
