Despite the weather, as we went down in the north eastern we had a wonderful time. Our dog was thrilled with the beach access. It felt like a home away from home and we plan on coming back.

We had an amazing time and our hosts were so helpful with any issues that came up. We were very happy with the entire experience. Great that dogs were accepted and the beach was dog friendly. Our dogs loved the beach

Great place on the water!

This property is lovely, impeccably clean and fully stocked for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is a described and the hosts were great! We will definitely stay again!!

Very nice vacation right on the beach. We were able to do a fire on the beach at night. Owners were present across the street from the property and very nice.

Wonderful getaway

Perfect location to see sunrise and sunsets. The proximity to the beach is exceptional. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a charming Broadkill store. We will definitely stay there again.

WONDERFUL

Such a relaxing vacation - Hosts were warm and gracious and made sure we did not want for anything - great location to sit back and unwind without the hustle and bustle of typical beach vacations. Would highly recommend!!!

Great Pet-Friendly Stay

A great stay in one of the prettiest, private beaches. Extremely clean property, easy check in and check out, right on the water and perfect for a long weekend or a week stay. We brought our dog and the owners were more than accommodating. The home has everything you need. We look forward to our next stay!

4th time staying at Broadkill beach but 1st in this house. Location great, house had everything we need. Huge deck and short walk to beach. Hosts were terrific!

Family vacation

Hosts were just great. Size of house is very accommodating and location is awesome. Portions of the deck and the gates need repaired. Ideal for our dogs! Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wendy We repaired the gates as soon as you left! The large deck was repaired with a few lose boards. As the heat tends to heat the wood, boards may loosen but there was no danger for guests. We very much like feed back so we can address. It is important to us when you are staying, it's important to us you tell us while you are staying so we can address. Thanks again. John and Cathy

Great location

Hosts are very attentive, welcoming, and gracious. The property is located in a perfect spot with easy beach access, beautiful views, and everything you need for an effortless stay. Great mattresses and everything you need in the kitchen. Gates on the deck keep the dogs in. It's quiet, restful, and just wonderful. We hope to return very soon.

Peaceful and Quiet

The bay area is quiet, and nature surrounds you on the private beach. You're not far from anything but you do feel like you have escaped to a secret place.

Wonderful last-minute stay

Terrific! Comfortable and home-like. The photos don't do the house justice. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, very clean. The hosts are very thoughtful. Our dog loved the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to return.

We loved our stay. Perfect location, with an outstanding deck that went all the way around the house. John was friendly and responsive without being intrusive. We’ll be back.

Excellent experience. Relaxing environment on quiet street of beach homes. Rental house has wraparound deck with great ocean views and all required amenities, including comfortable beds. Private beach is just a short walk.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The house was spotless and exactly as it appears in the pictures, with everything that you need supplied. But it is all about the beach, which is right outside your back door, beautiful, quiet and dog friendly. And if you want an evening out, Milton is 10 minutes away, charming and has dog friendly restaurants with talented entertainment. I highly recommend this house.

Perfect Location, Beatiful Views

Our vacation was wonderful! We had beautiful weather, the location was perfect, and John and Cathy were such a help! The house is very nice and had everything you might need for cooking and relaxing. The wrap-around deck was great! It kept our dogs contained and still able to run around and exercise while we were grilling and enjoying the views. And to top it off, a beautiful double rainbow after a rain shower!

Perfect Spot!!

Property was as described, wrap around deck was great for tracking the sun, super dog-friendly. Beautiful sunrises, quiet beach, preserves and state parks to walk nearby, fun to explore Lewes' shops and restaurants. John and Cathy were only a phone call away, stopped by to greet us and to check on our stay. They are looking to replace the master bedroom mattress, curtains in the livingroom, and add a few smaller amenities. This was our first visit to Delaware...we look forward to coming back!!

Kathy and group were great as guests. We always want ideas from guests in how to improve. We purchased new queen bed and installed new curtains on both sliding doors. We told here we really appreciate her honesty. We want the best for our guests

Great Low-Key Relaxing Beach Stay

The house is comfortable and not so large that two people and two dogs get lost in it. I appreciated that it was all on one level, with a wraparound deck having gates to keep our dogs safe while outside. It is beach front, a view of the water from the deck and a short walk over the dune to the water. The area is quiet and the traffic on the road travels at an appropriate speed. Only one loud vehicle went by all week. It's a good mix of rental and owner-occupied houses, from smaller cottages to big 3 story mansions. We enjoyed spending time in the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, which surrounds the neighborhood.
