Welcome to the newly renovated Manatee Manor! With room for up to 10 guests and even furry friends under 75 pounds (with a pet fee), this haven is just steps from the bay, offering easy access to local beaches and all the area has to offer. Perfect for your next family escape!

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! At Manatee Manor, enjoy parking for six cars, a fenced yard, outdoor shower, fire pit, basketball, giant connect four, and horseshoes. It's the ultimate blend of relaxation and recreation!

Indoors, the lower level boasts (which is not connected to the upstairs through an inside staircase) a game room with a wet bar, laundry, and a half bath. Entertainment options include bumper pool, pinball, a Ninja Turtle arcade, and a TV. Kids of all ages can enjoy the cozy space with a futon and bunk overhead. The wet bar, equipped with a full-sized fridge, caters to any grocery overflow. Sliding glass doors lead to the lower deck and fenced side yard, enhancing the indoor-outdoor living experience.

Heading upstairs, you'll find two large decks and a screened porch. The sunroom has a dining table, game shelf, and space for twin beds. In the great room, there's a cozy living area with a large TV and plenty of seating. Three bedrooms are up here: one with a bunk bed and a chair that turns into a twin, another with a queen bed, and the master with a queen bed, adjustable frame, and French doors to a private deck with bay views. There's a full bath and a half bath for convenience, and smart TVs in every bedroom for streaming your favorite shows!

PLEASE NOTE: Beach toys and chairs are provided for guest use. Keep in mind that linens and towels are not included, so bringing your own or renting locally is recommended. For cozy evenings by the fire pit, guests should bring their own firewood.

Semi private beach was wonderful feet from the property. House was nice needed some minor repairs loose step and porch lock mostly due to weather conditions but vey livable. Would highly recommend stay at property.

Great location and steps to the beach for the family including our 80 mom. Great pet friendly property and neighborhood. We met a lot of friendly neighbors and visitors on or morning and evening walks with our dog. Nice fenced in yard as well. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay at such an amazing home.

This beach cottage has a great layout. Although not oceanfront you can see the ocean from the master bedroom deck and hear the waves gently crashing. The screened porch is perfect when you need to escape from direct sun and bugs. The dunes have been replenished so the access to the beach is easier. We love the fenced in area for the dogs. Even though the beach was their favorite playground. The place has a fully stocked kitchen and enough beach things for an army of kids. If you like to bike, kayak, eat out or see an excellen show, the area provides it all avoiding coastal highway traffic. We were also blessed with fantastic weather. Hope to return next year.

This house has great character both inside & out, super close to the beach. Lisa’s a great host, very quick to respond to any questions. I’d certainly recommend this listing to anyone interested in relaxing while still having everything you need to be entertained.

Overall stay was great. It was exactly as expected; a good set up for our young kids and a dog. Few downsides:It could have definitely used a better cleaning. Lots of hair, human & dog (again, expected some for a pet-friendly) and grime on the walls. Smells like mothballs. It was renovated within the last few years, but quality/functionality was lacking. Barndoor to the half bath doesnt close enough to actually give someone privacy. All in all, would stay here again. The property feels secluded yet the beach is just a short walk away. Can’t beat the convenience.

Being from Dover, Delaware Broadkill Beach isn't far away so we spend a lot of spare time in the area. As a busy family of four we are always on the go but when we come to Broadkill Beach the world slows down a little and we get to spend quality time together making memories. We love sharing our home with guests so they can experience Broadkill Beach and all the area has to offer!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Our family discovered Broadkill Beach several years ago and have been hooked ever since. We love it for the "old fashioned" summer feel. Our kids love riding their bikes to the store to get a treat after dinner or a donut that is still warm on the weekend. There is a sense of community here that you don't find in so many of the larger beach towns.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

The house sits on a double lot which offers more outside space to play and a fenced yard for the dogs. This house truly has something for everyone young and old. There is a game room with wet bar on the first floor that all ages can enjoy. The out door area with fire pit, basket ball, tether ball, horseshoes and giant connect 4 is perfect after a day at the beach. The deck and screened in porch space is perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The screened porch lets you be outside even if it is raining or the bugs are pesky.
