Stayed at Bay View Marina many times before. The condo was clean, comfortable, had everything I needed. Des was a great host form start to finish. Diego and Javier where there if I needed anything. The staff at Bay View where very helpful and very nice everyday. Looking for another trip to Ixtapa and Bay View Marina is on the top of the list along with this Condo.

The accomodation was great, very clean and in good condition. Diego was very attentative to all our needs which were not really much as all was in good order. The owners set us up with all the information and made check-in very easy

Stunning Sunset Haven

We had a wonderful time in Ixtapa. Loved the infinity pool and luxurious grounds. Also loved that we were away from the noise of the all inclusive resorts at the other end of the beach. We would definitely recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Des’ condo at BVG Marina. The unit had everything we needed, it was well equipped and very comfortable (especially the bed!). Des was so accommodating and friendly, and communication was excellent. His onsite property managers were very responsive to our needs, and overall, it was a very positive experience! Thank you Des - your 5 star reviews are well deserved.

Great Place

The place was as listed, great view of ocean and sunset, beach was also very nice. Des set up our check in, had people waiting for us for check in, and showed us the condo. Txs Des, I will definitely come back.

Beautiful ,quiet condo , walking distance to town of Ixtapa and many great restaurants. Loved the morning walks on the beautiful beach and swimming in the infinity pool .

Ixtapa Vacation

This was our first vacation out of the country and although we had a couple of minor issues the first few days Des made sure they were addressed and our 2 weeks there were wonderful. Our condo was comfortable with beautiful sunset views.

BVG Marina

The property was in a great location. There were many stores and restaurants in walking distance. The unit itself was nice and clean and fully equipped. It was an added bonus to have a bar/restaurant onsite. I would highly recommend this property. The owner Des Smith was great to work with.

Perfect for two!

My partner and I had a fantastic stay here! It was the perfect spot for the two of us. We loved starting our mornings with a trip to the pool or beach. After a full day, we could return to the condo to cook dinner, do laundry, and end the evening watching our favorite movies. A big thank you to Des for being so kind and keeping us informed!

Excellent

Many times to Mexico, first time to Ixtapa. The area itself is beautiful with lots to see and do over our 2 week stay. The Bay View Grand Marina is perfectly situated and extremely well-maintained. Our unit was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our getaway. The owner and his Property Manager team were super professional and quick to respond with answers to questions or handle any minor issues. We felt cared about and looked after. We are already loking forward to returning!

Ixtapa 2024 Vacation

We totally loved our warm weather stay at your condo. It had everything we needed! Condo was clean, comfortable and had a great deck to view the awesome sunsets! We enjoyed the beautiful pool everyday and the whale watching was incredible. We would definitely stay here again. Des, the host, was friendly, helpful and accommodating! Fabulous Winter Escape

We were very happy with our stay at BVG Marina condo. Des provided us with the info we needed to prepare for our stay. Javier greeted us at our arrival and provided a tour of the condo and ensured we had everything we needed. He went out of his way to accommodate a special request of roses (Valentines day) from my husband. The condo location is great and had everything we needed. Quick/easy access to the pool and the beach. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great! Our stay was in February and there were lots of people from the US and Canada (snow birds) with extended stays so we were bummed we had to leave after only 1 week. We had lunch most days at the on site restaurant and the food was really good.

Rooms with a view

The complex is very well managed - clean, everything in good repair, staff available and helpful. The 2 pools are in excellent condition and have plenty of chairs and loungers available. The restaurant on site serves very good food and drinks at a reasonable price. The location is convenient, being walking distance to the marina and Ixtapa restaurants, bars and shopping, situated right on the long beach, close to La Puerta for fresh fruit and vegetables (and roast pork from Julio's to take home). Catch a collectivo to Isla Ixtapa or Zihua right outside the complex. Excellent shower, all amenities you might need. Bring some spices of your own if you plan to do much cooking. Also bring binoculars during whale-watching season. But our favourite thing about this apartment was the balcony - private, shady mornings and gorgeous evening sunsets over the hills. We were just at the right height to watch the birds building a nest in the palm tree, and we enjoyed the swallows who came out just after the sun went down. A very relaxing holiday in Ixtapa.

Great Location - Unit adaquate

The location of Bay View Grand is great. Close enough to shops and restaurants yet remote enough to keep things quiet. The pool and beach are excellent - nice soft white sand beach with plenty of distance for long walks. Plenty of chairs around the pool, and BVG doesn't allow "holding" of chairs. The unit had what we needed, with a fully equipped kitchen. The areas that could improve are the general up keep of the unit (damaged dresser, light bulbs out, outlets that didn't work), as well as the quality of the furnishings. It is also worth noting that the unit can sleep 4, however that would be two in the bedroom and two on the click-clack style couches. Personally, I would not sleep on one of these, but it would work for children. Check in and check out were easy, the area felt very safe (it's gated and security monitors beach/pool traffic), and the communication from booking to payment to travel was very good. The 5 gallon jug of filtered water upon arrival was very much appreciated. Thanks for an enjoyable vacation.
