Fantastic place to stay! Loved the location and area. The hot tub, coffee bar, and free firewood were all super nice amenities. Wish it has a little more outdoor stuff like a swing set or slide for the kids to occupy when outside but understandable. Also literally needs another 18" for the pool table to be usable without bumping walls but these are just minor critics. Would definitely go back again. Nica was a fantastic host, always quick with communication and followed up several times during my stay to make sure everything was well. Thank you so much for the memorable experience! Look forward to coming back next year!

Beautiful and very comfortable home, a perfect space for a family gathering. We loved all the thoughtful touches, from the Christmas tree to the hot cocoa and s’mores station - adored by the younger generation. Nica was very responsive and the place was pristine upon arrival. Thank you for a great stay!

The house was perfect for a winter get away. There were plenty of thoughtful niceties that our host left us. Lighting/ceiling fan operation was a tad tricky and the main bedroom mattress was a bit too firm/uneven for our liking, but otherwise the place was a good spot for kids and adults to kick back.

Hello! We stayed for our annual summer vacation with kids and grandkid. We found the home to be clean and welcoming. Several nice touches by the host, my favorite being the coffee bar and the fully stocked smores kit ( who doesn’t love smores). The property has so much to do, we didn’t leave but to go hiking at hickory run (awesome ) and dinner at Woodys. (Not so awesome). From the hot tub, to the board games and connect four, pool table, tvs and my favorite-the hammocks, this place is terrific for a relaxing family trip. The lake in the development is well stocked with trout and bass. My son enjoyed some fresh trout for lunch a few days. The host, Nica was terrific with communication, the the right amount and always responsive to questions. Nica and the Ideal Stays team- thank you for a great experience.

Weekend Getaway in Upscale Cabin

Beautifully decorated cabin with upscale amenities. Wonderful place to relax and just enjoy after a day of outdoor adventures nearby. Located as part of a quiet community and we enjoyed seeing deer and wildlife in the mornings and evenings. Lots more to do than we had time for. Thank you for a great place to create memories with my family.

A place for all seasons....

So close to so much, Delaware Water Gap, fine dining at French Manor could see this being a place to frequent any time of year! The home catered to all levels and while it was just my husband and I the rooms and space for a family or families or could even see this being a great place for the race enthusiast too....communication was top notch from beginning to end. This property was a delight and will not dissapoint, very quiet. Deer every morning off decks!

Wonderful Stay at the Iron Elk Cabin!!

Beautiful home, large backyard and private/quiet community. Access to the beach, tennis courts and fishing dock comes with the house. Very comfortable and clean rooms and living space, beautiful kitchen, yard and decks for entertaining. Pool table, foosball table, dart and hot tub for fun plus tons of board games! Nica is the best! Super responsive and attentive to make sure you have the best time in the Iron Elk Cabin. We stayed here multiple times with different groups including our dog and had wonderful time. Definitely coming back for another getaway in the Iron Elk Cabin.

Beautiful home in Poconos

Our group of nine (two families with 5 kids) had the best time at Iron Elk. There were deer in the yard daily and it was quiet and peaceful. The kids loved the bedroom with bunk beds and having movie nights in the downstairs area with bean bags. Adults loved all the places to hangout such as fire pit, screened porch, deck, and pool table area. I loved that the counter island was large enough for all of us to eat at and open to the living room area. The beach which is about a ten minute walk is beautiful and the kids loved playing on the dock all day. We had a great time and Nica and her husband were wonderful hosts.

Pocono Escape

We had a fantastic stay at Elk Mountain. The property truly impressed us with its spacious wraparound deck and striking vaulted ceilings, which created an open and inviting atmosphere. The many floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the home with natural light, enhancing the airy and expansive feel. The interior was quaintly decorated with a modern/rustic touch, blending cozy charm with contemporary style. Attention to detail was evident throughout, from the delightful s’mores kit left on the kitchen table to the well-stocked coffee station. The home was thoughtfully equipped with games, books, and other entertainment options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The host was exceptionally generous, offering use of their two kayaks for exploring the local lake. The full game room, featuring fussball, a TV, and a pool table, provided a perfect hangout spot for the teens. Overall, Elk Mountain exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

Absolutely Wonderful

Iron Elk was a wonderful place, and our host Nica was very informative and responsive every step of the way. Some of our favorites were the wrap around deck on the ground level, half screened in and half open, very nice brand new hot tub, large fire pit, lots of yard both front and back for our dogs and kids to play. The house is in a nice community with a private lake with a beach and playground, and have a kayak to take out. We walked our dogs around the neighborhood which was very quiet and nice. Inside the house was extremely clean, lovely decor, very detailed and updated appliances. Gas grill on the upper deck balcony that wraps around the house as well. 3 full bathrooms with all new showers and fixtures. Game room on bottom floor with the pool table was very fun as well. I also enjoyed the phone app with all the information and nearby attractions versus a hard copy printout that is normal for other rental properties. This was a convenient feature and accessed the app for information daily. Great place!
