Host was very responsive. Cabin is outdated but cozy. Cabin needs house numbers to help identify location. The pool was closed due to storms that had hit earlier that week so we didn’t get to use it. The hot tub had dirt on the inside. Beds were super comfortable.

Cabin was not bad, does need major cleaning, spider web and spiders everything in the cabin, the front deck you will have to fight your way thru the cob webs, hot tub lights do not work and where it is, you have to watch the stuff falling off the roof into the hot tub. The deck is being eaten away from ants, Took a shower the first day there and 2 BIG spiders were in the corner of the shower, Parking! If you have a full size SUV, it's very hard to get turned around in the drive,(you can not back up because if the steep drive)There was enough table wear, and kitchen utensils, Over all, I would give this cabin a 6 out of 10

Absolutely awesome stay. House was clean easy to find very secluded. We even had a bear visit while we were there. The host was very easy to reach and very accommodating.

Don't stay here!This property was not as advertised. The pictures are extremely old and do not represent the condition of the cabin. It was extremely dirty inside and out. The spider webs have not been knocked down in years. The house was not marked with a sign or numbers so very difficult to find. The porch and stairs are rotting. Some of the railing has been replaced with random 2x4 and is not in accordance with state codes and not safe. The hot tub just smelled like chlorine, we were not getting in that. There were leaves everywhere. There is no grass or anywhere for a dog to go outside to the bathroom. As for the inside the host claims it gets clean but it does not. The floors were sticky, the towels are stained and smelled, there were old coffee grounds left in the coffee pot. Upstairs there are urine stains in the carpet and the sheets had a strong perfume smell. The whole cabin was very musty and smelled like mold. We spent the first 2 hours trying to clean and get rid of the smell. I messaged the host and she refused to respond. After one night we left. I called Vrbo to let them know what was going on and Amanda responded to them and refused a refund and denied the condition of the cabin despite all the pictures I sent. We didn't care about the refund we just didn't want to stay somewhere so disgusting and unsafe.

Thanks for your feedback. As it sounds, I'd have contacted the host promptly and left immediately. This was not the case, you stayed more than half the time and then tried to demand a refund. We would have loved to have had the opportunity to review your complaints, but instead money did seem to be the remedy for all your problems. We are thankful that you found somewhere else to go & do not welcome you back. In the future before you book, check that it is not in the woods, where spiders live.

This was the perfect rental for our family vacation along with our two dogs. Great location between Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg.

Great place, great location

We came up to the Smokies with my family recently and enjoyed our stay here. My kids really loved the arcade system upstairs (OK, I did too). The place was in a good location, close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Overall, we had a great time!
