Welcome to Jellyfish Twist in quiet, historic Fort Morgan, Alabama, 17 miles from Gulf Shores. The private, dog-friendly beaches with sugar-white sand, lack of crowds, and slower pace of life make this property the perfect site for your beach getaway. We cater to girls' trips, professionals' sabbaticals. fishermens' holidays. and family vacations.

Have you been disappointed in previous tired and run down vacation rentals? You will not find that here! We continually maintain and upgrade our home to make your vacation 5-Star perfect! The new dining table seats eight guests so everyone can enjoy the meal together. The queen room now boasts a stocked coffee bar. Enjoy a morning cup on the private balcony before joining the rest of your group. Local coffees (ground and whole bean), sweetener, grinder, and a tiny fridge for cream, milk, etc., are included.

In doing our part to be eco-friendly, we installed wildlife-friendly lighting to assist the turtle babies. We supply detergent sheets and wool dryer balls for laundry and a Brita filter for water. A Swedish dish cloth replaces 200 paper towels-just rinse and repeat. It’s a small step, but these actions help our environment.

I offer more than just a place to stay. As a local gal, I can suggest places to go and things to do in the area. The beach is our main attraction, but we have much more to experience. A digital guest guide is in the making.

I am fully invested in my property and manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and cleaning. I go well beyond standard with hotel quality bed linens, two pillows per guests, clean comforters and shams (washed after every guest), hotel quality bath towels, high quality paper products, and a fully equipped kitchen. By staying in the property regularly, I can identified nuances that improve the quality of the house and make your stay that much better.

I first visited Gulf Shores in 1991 while attending an EMS conference and fell in love with the area. The beach was lined with small coastal cottages, and life was definitely much more laid back at that time. I continued to visit Gulf Shores every October for the next 12 years and finally decided to purchase my own place. One problem I had while staying in hotels was finding one that allowed pets. Once I bought my condo on West Beach, I vowed to provide a clean, comfortable vacation home that welcomes pets. My dream has always been to have a house on the beach. Thirty years later, my husband and I purchased Jellyfish Twist in Fort Morgan. We love the quiet, natural surroundings without the crowds and hustle and bustle of town. I still have that little condo and share it with couples and their pets. Our Fort Morgan home is great for girls' trips, professionals' sabbaticals, and fishing getaways.
